Allows you to angle and position the mic. Just about strong enough to hold the mic in place. The clamp is very basic but functional. A good price for what you get.

Nice mic stand but the plastic is very flimsey and weak, as i was setting it up for the first time i was tightening up the mic holder adapter and the threads stripped with minimal pressure, very disappointed

bought this for my podcast as i dont like the huge crane arm type the rest are using….absolutely brilliant mic stand. The snake adjuster is very good quality and doesnt droop of fall away. very good

I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks now. Very stable and flexible with my Fifine AM8 microphone. Easy to set up. Sadly it does not come with a clamp so you have to buy one separately. I recommend getting a shockmount for your mic if you’re planning to use it for streaming microphones because it easily picks out vibrations.
