I bought these as an emergency pair when I broke my glasses. Cheap enough and they aren’t bad looking. However you can only see down the centre of the lense.when not looking directly down the centre everything is extremely blurry. All towards the edge of the lense is impossible to see out of.

Item selected: Black, +1.5My first impressions from the image on the box was these glasses looked very cheap, however the image on the box did not do the actual glasses justice – the plastic is quite chunky and has a nice gloss sheen. The glasses are individually packaged in polythene bags and come with some very basic protective foam sleeves. They are very inexpensive at £16.99 (at time of review) for a pack of 5 so the appearance of the packaging is not really important.Putting them on, they look fine and are very clear as you would hope. When folded they are fairly slim-line (about 20mm thickness folded) which is big plus for me. I often put glasses in my pockets or crush them in other ways, so they tend not to last long. The plastic is slightly chunkier than other glasses of similar type I have tried – however this makes them feel slightly more stable. The nose-pads are not articulated which is a plus for me – from experience these just get bent or break at some point. The nose-pads are a moulded part of the frame and are therefore discrete and robust.I thought I wouldn’t like these, but they are fine. I chose black but the other colours available are probably equally good. I would say they are uni-sex and would suit either men or women. Depending on how robust they turn out to be I will be ordering more when the time comes. Excellent value for money.

I’m fed up of paying silly money for prescription glasses, particularly as I have a habit of leaving them on my desk at work or losing them around the house so I usually have to order a few pairs following an eye test and this can be costly.This time following my free eye test I kept the prescription and ordered this 5-pack, arriving next day.Pros: They look great on me and the +1.75 lenses couldn’t be clearer even when reading my phone with a side-eye. First impressions are very good and excellent value. Light and comfortable to wear.Cons: I’m a guy with average sized head but they feel a little loose when wearing them, probably due to the weak spring-out on the arms. If the springs were a little tighter these would’ve got 5*. Smaller heads will have trouble keeping these on.Time will tell how durable they are. The frames appear to be cheap plastic but not delicate enough to break under normal use. No nose pads to fall off and lose, and the hinges appear to be adequate for the job. As reading glasses they’re basic but functional. Ideal for anyone who wants to keep a few pairs around the house or at work.

I’m wearing a pair as I write this review. I need the +1.75 strength to correct my reading vision. Without these, I cannot read my phone or instructions on packets of food. I really like them. Came in 5 different colours. Neatly packed in a box which would make them great for a present. Each pair of glasses came with a case. I lose things like reading glasses so don’t like spending lots of money buying a pair a single expensive pair from my optician. These were reasonably priced and mean I can leave a pair in my laptop back, a pair in the car, a pair on my bedroom table, a pair on my desk and a pair in my coat pocket. I am giving serious consideration to buying another lot of the same so I have more pairs to scatter around in place where I might need them.

I am delighted with these glasses. Almost identical to my optician’s frames, lightweight and they fit well. The lens is accurate regarding strength (mine are 4.00). At £3/pr – they are amazing!
