So I’ve not used a straightener with such slim plates – great for quick touch ups or to straighten my fringe but I felt that although I could get used to the thin/narrow plates they did feel quite ‘draggy’ on my hair and certainly didn’t glide through like my regular straighteners. They heated up quick, there’s a range of heat settings, but it starts from the hottest and you select down from there, which felt like a strange way of doing it !!. The clamp to close the straighteners is a bit clunky and overall it feels a bit cheap. A good concept of the thinner plates, but poor quality plates and overall a bit low tech for the price. I’ll continue using my mini straighteners for my fringe touch ups rather than these.

Great , works very well with my shoulder length hair & fringe.I believe this will be ideal for short hair too , its just so easy to maneuver throw the hair .Its light in the hand , and the thin iron plate is ideal for bangs / fringes as it takes a small bit of hair at a time and is easy to straighten or give a little curl. The quality is god its wellmade, heats up quickly and slide through the hair.

I have a short pixie hair style and was heading to Italy so needed a dual voltage hair straightener that wasn’t crazy expensive to take with me as I didn’t want to take my expensive one and lose it or have it short out.Got this one and I actually use it a lot now! Since my hair is short this grabs the short pieces better than my larger one and I can control the curve or straightness of the hair really easy.I’ve had no issues at all with where the buttons are and have never accidentally changed the settings or turned it off as some mentioned.I like that it has a little carrying bag with it which make it easy to tuck it away when I’m done.
