Amazing Backboard; Great for the Kids Whom Like to Hang Off the Net
The Nate Robinson was a introductory indoor net that I purchased for my little guys. This net is absolutely amazing. The net is designed to allow kids to hang onto to the rim. Now, your probably thinking that’s not possible. Let me tell you it is. There is a video of the product by Nate Robinson that gives an overview of the the net.The rim has a small spring which allows kids to hang off the net and springs back once they let go. It’s a great decision because we know how everyone loves to slam on a basketball rim and hang off of it. Both kids and parents.Some pointers; ensure that it’s on a door. We made the habit of placing it on the pantry door in the kitchen because itwas easier watching the kids. In addition, it did help with them being able to slam the ball but also work on skills, such as layups, shooting, etc. If there is a door low enough to place it on for the kids without it being awkwardly placed, I suggest placing it there. Your kids will appreciate it.Make sure the backboard is flush against the door.When kids decide to slam the ball and hang off the net; they can’t be hanging off of it for days like my kids did. Eventually it will crack just due to the stress.The backboard is made of a thicker plastic which is the reason why it can take a bit more of the stress. It has padding on the back to help with absorbing the shock of the ball hitting the net or backboard. You don’t hear that rattling sound.Love this, it was the best backboard, I’ve come across and my kids loved it!

Best Rim on the Market and a STEAL on the Price
This is easily the best rim on the market. I have had a SKLZ rim for nearly 10 years and still going strong. The rim has handled absolute torture from myself and my friends and to this day still handles abuse with absolutely no repairs. The SKLZ rim is a close second, but this rim…..What sets this rim apart from the SKLZ is two things 1) It has a feel of an actual, real basketball hoop. The actual rim is very thick and extremely durable. SKLZ rim holds up and to this day doesn’t miss a beat, but is fairly thin and doesn’t have that real basketball rim feel. With the TEKK rim being so much thicker, it seems to absorb the shock of a shot better than the SKLZ rim AND 2) the net is so much better on the TEKK. It again has the more “basketball feel.” It is fairly thick and has the funnel shape we are accustomed to seeing for a beautiful swish. The SKLZ, however, has more of a tube shaped net, not as thick, and definitely does not give the same satisfying swish you get with the TEKK.All in all TEKK is the best on the market and gives you the actual “basketball feel.” Extremely durable and well made. Very easy to assemble (maybe 5-10 minutes) and comes with extra parts, a ball, and a pump with needle. As a person who played NERF basketball his whole life, my brother and I were always looking for a solid, perfect rim. I’ve been through a ton of them, and this one takes the cake ESPECIALLY for the price. An absolute steal!The SKLZ rim is still a great rim, and like I said I have had for 10 years, but I didn’t know what I was really missing until I bought this one. You cannot go wrong with either, but the TEKK has won me over.Another note, this rims diameter seems to be maybe a quarter to a half inch bigger than the SKLZ which might help achieve the swish we all desire.

This has been the absolute strongest and best hoop my son has owned and used.I think all young children who use the hoop will invariably want to ‘dunk’ on the rim and this leads eventually to the destruction of the perspex/acrylic backboard.This hoop seems to be incredibly strong with a thicker perspex backboard. The hoop spring is also much weaker and so yields to the hoop flexing down on dunks rather than the backboard bending wich is what has happened with previous hoops.The accompanying ball and pump are not of particularly good quality but the hoop and backboard itself is excellent and well worth the purchase.

I’m impressed with the quality and durability of this product. It’s a lot of fun. It was easy to put together with clear instructions provided. The net is quality and has a satisfying swish sound. Dunking feels good with the breakaway rim, but shots that hit the rim are very noisy. The ball provided isn’t the best and I suggest buying another one separately.
