This is how I remember Batman and Joker from the 60s television programme.This is a good starter kit for aspiring modellers. The figurines are already cast and the correct coloured paints are supplied as are two paint brushes and decals to finish the models. All good.I’m not sure what they’re made from but I think the figurines are cast rather than 3D printed – there are marks and slight bits of excess plastic that indicate moulding/demoulding – these issues are easily sorted out with a bit of sand paper. Correcting minor flaws is a skill that any modeller needs to master and these figurines are good practice for the beginner. The flaws are very minor and the figurines are ready to paint with or without finessing. There isn’t a painting guide, but the box is a good indicator as to what colours go where.The figurines themselves are a good size and nice and solid – the base on each one is big enough to make them very stable, and while they are very detailed they’re big enough for the inexperienced painter to paint relatively easily. Obviously a steady hand is required, but with a few tips and guidance from more experienced modellers most newbies should be able to complete these to a fairly competent level.Paints and brushes are included but no primer so I’m figuring that it’s ok to paint directly on to the model, although I’d probably prime them first for a better finish. The paint pots are fairly small so the user will learn very quickly that a couple of thin layers is better than trying to get a professional finish with one thick coat of paint as you’ll probably run out of paint before finishing the job. It’s a learning curve.Decals are supplied for the ‘fiddly bits’ but again a bit of practice may be required to get them absolutely right.At £14.99 for two figurines (as at 8 April 2025) I think these are well made models that are great for new model makers to cut their teeth on.

Honest and fair reviews –
The arm on Batman was broken off, unfortunately there was no protective wrapping inside the boxes and although both figures have delicate parts only Batman was broken. A little bit of bubble wrap would have stopped this happening.It’s a shame because these are nicely modelled figures that come with paint and brushes.

this item arrived in a nice presentation in own cardboard box with the image of the product on the font and few basic information on the back inside the box you’ll find 2 Sanrio characters one is hello kitty and one is my melody also 2 sets of paint and 2 paint brushes. the sanrio characters are good size, well made and good level of details perfect craft for a rainy afternoon the paint is good consistency, vibrant colours and nice selection of colours my daughter loves hello kitty and friends and she was very happy to paint this, she displayed in her room also the paint dries quickly.
