FAQs
How do I choose the right size for my dog’s knee brace?
Measure the thigh circumference above 1.5 inches from the hock. For medium to large breeds, measure above 2 inches from the hock and choose the appropriate size based on the measurement.
What is the purpose of installing different supports in the brace?
No support can be used as a regular anti-licking device. Spring strips allow some range of motion for pets in recovery, while steel strips completely restrict movement for early-stage injuries.
How should I introduce the knee brace to my dog?
Let your dog sniff the brace and give a treat. Repeat this a few times, starting with two hours on the first day and increasing by one hour each day as tolerated, aiming for 8-14 hours a day after the break-in period.

Although rather unsure with regard to size required despite repeated measurements the size L fits our 20Kg sprocker perfectly and is well tolerated.

The leg support idea is good, unfortunately it falls down when my dog walks, I’ve tried to tighten with the Velcro straps, but still falls down. Also the support is not cheap.

The sizing is spot on for my dog (Jack Russel cross) Anyway. At first, he didnt want to walk in it, due to being a new addition to his leg. But made a difference with him being able to put his leg on the ground. 5 days later, he is back to normal and hopefully not his ACL.i feel it is expensive but what can we do, as it was needed. so 4 stars not 5
