Thanks to this product, I was able to get my sisters cat back when they escaped. Thankfully it hanged around the area and we soon managed to get it back home, safe and sound. Just make sure to check on it every day. It works well and is easy to set up and is made of quality material. I’d say that this product is well worth the money spent on it.

Bought this to try and find my very timid missing cat. He had already been missing a week when I started using it. The first night the trap was still empty, the 2nd night we caught a neighbourhood stray (safely released) and on the 3rd night we caught our missing cat. As he is so timid and doesn’t come when called I’m sure we wouldn’t have got him back without this trap. It wasn’t that difficult to put together, was very effective and the value for money is worth every penny if you manage to find a missing pet.

I vowed that if I successful caught my cat with this trap, I’d leave a review. So here it is! I deliberated SO long over which humane cat trap to buy, so if you’re looking for a sign: this is it.Assembly wasn’t overly-easy, and the instructions definitely leave room for improvement. But as a fairly impractical individual, I managed in under half an hour.It’s easy enough to set, and the trigger plate is appropriately sensitive. It took me a full five days to catch my recently-adopted stray with this in part because local foxes were sniffing around the trap and dragging it to get the food out (the floor is mesh) without going inside.So if you have an urban fox population or just savvy vats, my advice is to cover it with a blanket so the animal can’t see the food from the bank and try to fish it out through the holes. Weigh the blanket down on top, and also block the trap with bricks on either side so it can’t get dragged. Make sure nothing blocks the lever/mechanism on the outside.Good value for money, felt safe, did the job humanely. Would have been better if it came with easier instructions and the bottom were solid. Apart from that, well, my cat is home and I’m happy!

Was easier to assemble than I anticipated from other reviews. Setting the trigger was the trickiest bit as the video is not that clear. The leaver from the trigger plate holds the bar from the door in place. So the trigger plate lever is on the outside of the door lever when setting the trap.I did have some slight concerns about the weight of the door coming down fast on an exposed tail. I put a small amount of food in front of the trigger plate and a plate of cat meat behind the plate to entice Loki all the way in.I placed an old storage crate at the far end so the cat couldn’t just get the food through the bars. Just make sure the lever will not be trapped when triggered.I got the trap on Thursday. The wong cat on Friday night, quickly released. And Loki was trapped early hours Sunday morning. She had been on the streets for 25 days. The trap was well worth the money.

Good size for trapping cats but when the trap door is released it makes a really loud noise. My niece tried it out on her cat who messed itself from the loud noise. Not so good😔

This trap is of high quality with a solid tarp door however as my title says setting the trap is not that clear until you work it out.The trick to setting the trap is to have the footplate horizontal, insert the the trapdoor then rest the bottom pin of the trapdoor on the trip mechanism. With the footplate horizontal sit the release (long) bar of the trip mechanism behind that of the footplate until you feel slight pressure this will hold the trapdoor open. When the animal treads on the footplate the two will separate and the door will close.Our displaced housecat had been out for 2 weeks once sightings were confirmed I ordered this for delivery Sunday 03/09. Trap arrived 6pm set at 7.30pm cat was captured and back home by 07.30am 04/09.In summary it’s very well made and easy to assemble, fiddly to set at first but it sure does the job.There may be cheaper versions available to buy however I recommend this trap over others due to it’s build quality

This trap is what my neighbours bought after borrowing one from a cat rescue organisation. It is basically perfect and confysing but then quickly very easy to set up im very pleased its the same one they had and they caught 15 cats and kittens.

When I first saw this after unpacking I thought this would never work such a simple mechanism two bars resting against each other but how wrong I was caught stray cat after only 15 mins worked like a treat really easy to set up well worth the money definitely five stars

I purchased this trap to catch feral cats that regularly visit for food at our villa in Cyprus, particularly 3 females that continually have kittens. I’ve tried several times over the last 3 years without success using other methods, but, within minutes of setting up the trap I caught one. However, it went crazy and managed to bust out and escape from forcing the join at the front and side open at the door end. We made it bust proof by adding more cable ties at all 4 corners, and set up again, the ginger one was sucessfully trapped and taken to the vet for sterilisation etc. The assembly instructions could have been a little clearer but between 2 of us we sussed it out. The only thing that bothered me was the trap door slamming down, it could potentially slam down on the tail if it’s sticking out and makes quite a loud noise which spooks the cat even more so I put a small block of polystyrene at each side to cushion it which I removed once the cat was safely enclosed. It’s definitely effective and worth the money. It’s conveniently flat packed for easy transportation.

I used two cable ties (not included) to secure the back but overall a really good trap that is easy to set. I had been trying for days to catch my cat to take her to the vet, without any success. With this trap, it took only 10 minutes after setting it up to safely catch her. On top of that, I even used the trap as a carrier to bring her to the veterinarian. Highly recommended!

We had a little stray kitten by a railway track and we got this to catch her. Did take a while to figure out the mechanism. We were worried because the ground wasn’t flat so we took the box and put it on the box which is really sturdy. A trail of freshly roasted chicken and she was in! It worked first time. Brilliant!!

La compré para atrapar a un gato callejero que tenía una pata doblada y que solía venir a comer a mi portal. Una vez atrapado (y felizmente adoptado), la he donado a la protectora. La única cosa que he tenido que modificar, porque no me terminaba de gustar, ha sido el borde de la puerta que cierra. Tiene un borde vivo, y al caer con fuerza me daba miedo de que le pillara la cola a los gatos y les hiciera daño, así que le he puesto un borde de goma a la puerta para que no dé metal contra metal.
