This proving bag is the perfect answer when kitchen temperature is a bit variable or low this keeps the dough at a steady temperature thus improving the rise of the loaf. It is also a folding item taking up very little space when not in use.

A bit funny to set up the temperature, it’s not straight forward

I’ve always struggled to keep sour dough, ginger bug etc at a constant optimal temperature during the winter and this little box is a very effective answer to that. It’s simple to use and my sour dough is loving it. Would highly recommend.

I’m writing this after my first use of the product. The instructions on setting the temperature are confusing because they’re repetitive. Also, there’s no guidance on what temperature bread should be proved at, or yogurt, or for how long., so it’s a guessing game. There’s no window to view the bread from the outside, and peeking by unzipping the bag risks deflating the bread. Also, there doesn’t seem to be any means of attaching the temperature controller to the bag as pictured. So I shall persevere, but would suggest the manufacturers provide more guidance.
