This cone had been wonderful for my golden retriever who is recovering from knee surgery. He doesn’t complain when it goes on and it fits him well . When he lies down it bends easily so it’s comfy to rest his head . He can’t reach his back legs to lick which is exactly what is needed . The cone can fold back for him to eat and drink . You can clean it easily by simply wiping it down . Overall a great succeed and so glad I opted for this brand of cone .

This is one of the better buster collars out there and my dog tolerates wearing it more than the plastic cone of shame that you get from the vets. He still causes carnage with his lack of spatial awareness, but at least it doesn’t hurt when he crashes into you and it’s comfortable for him to wear and sleep in.It has large velcro patches and the two outer straps help prevent it from being ripped open. Although given the strength of the vecro, I can’t see that being done easily. As I have a crossbreed, I opted for the larger size, just so he can’t poke his muzzle out and access the bits he’s not meant to be licking. This means the neck is large and the collar will slip on or off, but the elasticated straps are good as your can thread a collar through them. My only gripe is that the elasticated straps could do with being a bit wider, as it’s a struggle to get a wider collar through them.NB, they wash up well on a cold cycle. I might buy another as a back up.

Much more comfortable for my dog and us as hard cone kept banging up against our legs and looked so uncomfortable when our dog was sleeping. Only problem I found is our dog would get more sweaty with it on and it needed regular washing to stop it from smelling. Therefore only gave it four stars.It just needs some kind of ventilation in its design. Then it would be perfect.

It probably works for some dogs but my greyhound hated that she couldn’t see except forward. It is soft and pretty so good product. Just not great for all dogs.
