I bought this in large for my staffie, whose head measures 17″ as per measuring instructions, which is at the upper end of the size chart for Large. Unfortunately, even with the Velcro tightened fully, it’s still loose and slips off as soon as she shakes her head. The design itself is a good idea and I can see how it could help some dogs with noise or grooming, but the sizing guide feels off. It’s concerning that a measurement near the top of the range is still too loose, so I’d wait for clarity from the seller around sizing or assume that if your dog is measuring in the L range then a M will probably be a better fit
