I love this ice maker. I’ve been after one for a long time but was put off by the prices, wondering whether I could justify that much from my household budget for a one-task item. However, I bought it at a discount of around 47% so my rating it 5 stars for value for money is a bit misleading, although now I have it, I would have paid the full price for the convenience it gives me. No more filling up ice trays. Yay!I’ve read some say it is noisy, but this is nonsense. It makes some noise, yes, but how could it not? When refrigeration is going on, it could never be silent (just listen to your fridge). It is so easy to use, and also has a self clean feature, so there is no worry, A great piece of kit, and ignore all the comments about noise. Unless you keep in the bedroom, it can’t possibly matter.

Got this on a deal and was impressed with it for the few weeks it worked. Made lots of ice, quite small pieces but always had a ready made supply and never needed to pay £1 a kg from the supermarket.Design is good and easy to use. I loved how the mechanisms inside worked, closing the door, filling the tray and then dropping the Ice off the elements. If the ice is left in overnight, it melts and returns the water to the water tankIt was a little noisy but that wasn’t a big issue for me. It also has a feature where you can remove old water and clean.Then all of a sudden it stopped working. The mechanism works but it’s shuts down and days ‘no water’. I tried several.things to fix like cleaning, like turning off for a long period, like manually trying to fill the water tray but eventually had to give upItem was refunded and I was allowed to keep the item so I could take it months dump. Seems like such a waste.

Takes a while to get the full large cubes each time you turn it on to make them. But so glad I bought it. Well worth it especially in this heatwave. Continuously makes the ice until water is finished or until you turn it off. Pretty large but worth every penny.
