I’ve struggled with applying eye make-up for a few years as my eye site has declined. Mascara in particular has been very hit and miss as I can’t see what I’m doing without my glasses on – it’s a bit pot luck if I get it neatly on my lashes or if I end up with panda eyes.I can’t keep my glasses on to apply eye make up as they get in the way.I have said to my partner before that I need some magic glasses to help me with this – but I had no idea these kinds of glasses design existed for this very purpose!The glasses are colourful plastic frames. They look and feel a bit like cheap ‘ready reader’ type glasses.You swivel the one lens from one side to another to enable you to see and make up one eye at a time. The lens is a little on the stiff side to swivel but this is better than being too loose so it doesn’t stay in place.The lens helps to magnify my eye so it does enable me to see what I’m doing and apply my eye make-up with more precision than doing it without any glasses on.I found it straightforward applying mascara to my top lashes. Bottom lashes were more difficult as the bottom of the frame got in the way a bit. But it was still better than wearing my usual glasses or no glasses.A good idea. Not perfect. But certainly helpful and making it quicker and easier for me to apply eye make-up precisely. I’ll continue to use.

I was very short sighted but have recently had 2 cataract operations which have left me long sighted. Previously I had no trouble doing my make up, but it’s difficult of you’re long sighted. These do the trick – work brillianltly.

Bought 2 pairs of these glasses, magnification were different, I found with mine that one eye was good for putting on my makeup, but the other was blurry (just my eyes) I do actually wear glasses so would make a difference. My sister doesn’t wear glasses & she found these great! Helped her soooo much to sort her makeup. Fair quality, comfortable, look ok for the job, I just chose the plain ones rather than the colour as not to interfere/distract from the makeup. Fair value for money.

Not great because my eyes couldn’t focus on one side and not the other. Might be ok to magnify if you don’t need glasses. Thought it was a bit expensive for what they were. I returned them.

Purchased these to assist eye make up application, same strength as cheap off the shelf readers. Frame very stiff and difficult to swop the lenses between eyes. Lense strength far too strong. Find when applying mascara the brush catches the frame of glasses and have to wear on end of nose,Not a good buy.
