I really like this carpet sweeper it does the job much better than I thought. It is great at picking up dog hair, leafs and bits of grass and most things that people bring in on their footwear and since my partner has come home from hospital there are the carers that visit daily and also district nurses who visit 3 times a week and as it is the autumn leaves can easily get inside. I can use this carpet sweeper several times a day if needed without using any electricity and it is reasonable quiet. It’s fairly sturdy, easy to use and assemble, it’s easy to clean it, value for money. There is a couple of downsides though firstly it doesn’t pick up along the edges of the floor by the walls or in corners very well and secondly the handle can get in the way when you go to empty it so I just unscrew the handle to remove it, empty the sweeper and put the handle back on. But it is still easier than emptying a bagless vacuum cleaner. On the whole, I would recommend this carpet sweeper

This replaces a previous and similar manual sweeper, which broke and is used in addition to a regular vacuum cleaner. This is great for those quick 10 second sweeps, but couldn’t replace a vacuum cleaner for getting into the nooks and crannies and isn’t as good as a good suction cleaner. It does have it’s strengths though and because of which, I had to buy 2 more for relatives who were impressed by it. So in total i’ve purchase 3 of these as they were cheap and the reviews I read seemed to put these in a good light.Positives:Fairly quiet, so perfect for evenings, early mornings, when someone is sleeping nearby etc.Doesn’t require power, so should save on electricity bills.Doesn’t require plugging in, so useful for a quick sweep.It works surprisingly well at picking up crumbs etc on the carpet and it’s often a surprise at how much it’s collected when emptying.Fairly easy to empty and clean.Negatives:A slightly messier empty than most vacuum cleaners.Less well built than most vacuum cleaners, with some plastic gearing, which inevitably fails at some point. (but that’s still an assumption with this and based on previous experience with similar models as they are all still working well)Only useful for some cleaning jobs as it can’t clean in tighter spots.

Picks up lint and dust very nicely. On a down side, it’s hard to manipulate on the staircase and does pick up some pile from off the carpet itself, which is undesirable. I’m very happy with the product in general though. As it is quiet one to use, unlike a hoover, it can be used anytime of day or night without disturbing neighbours etc. Sturdy and quick to assemble. Recommended and good value for money.

this carpet sweeper remove anything you lay in its path, including dead ants which are usually quite difficult to Hoover up. it looks just how it looks in the photograph and it can replace whatever instrument you use to clean up bamboo rugs, carpets and floors. it’s easy to empty and the perfect height for me. Comodo e funzionale… ma non per tutti!
Scrivo questa recensione con un po’ di sdoppiamento della personalità, perché il prodotto in questione non lo avevo comprato per me, ma per mia moglie. E lei, beh… diciamo che non è andata d’accordo con questo “balai meccanico” e lo abbiamo dovuto rendere indietro, perchè si aspettava qualcosa di molto leggero, quasi “etereo”, tipo una scopa di plastica supermaneggevole ma con una funzionalità tutta sua. Invece si è trovata tra le mani un attrezzo più robusto, con un’asta in metallo (probabilmente alluminio o ferro) che, pur essendo resistente, le è sembrato decisamente troppo pesante per un uso quotidiano (1 chilo e mezzo di prodotto). Per lei, che è abituata a scope leggere come piume, è stato un colpo (alle braccia). Io, invece, l’ho provato un paio di volte giusto per capire di cosa si trattasse, e devo dire che il prodotto in sé è ben fatto. L’idea di unire paletta e scopa in un unico strumento non è male: funziona bene, raccoglie capelli, peli di animali, briciole, polvere e piccoli detriti senza troppa fatica. L’apertura a scatto della paletta è rapida ed efficace – anche se all’inizio un po’ spaventa! Attenzione alle dita, però: se non si fa attenzione durante lo svuotamento, si rischia di schiacciarsele. Un altro punto da considerare: l’asta è sottile. E nonostante sia sottile è pesantuccia secondo alcuni standard. Va bene ma non è il caso di usarla come leva o metterci troppa forza, altrimenti si piega. Per quanto riguarda la sua efficacia, invece, è perfetta per le pulizie rapide quotidiane, ma non aspettatevi miracoli negli angoli o sotto i mobili. Non è un’aspirapolvere, né una scopa tradizionale con setole flessibili, quindi in alcuni punti proprio non ci arriva. A volte servono un paio di passate in più, ma alla fine lo sporco lo prende. Per concludere, se lo avessi comprato per me, il prodotto lo avrei tenuto senza problemi perchè è comodo, capiente, facile da pulire (grazie all’accessorio incluso) e ben costruito. Merita 5 stelle per funzionalità e qualità, ma per mia moglie 1 stella, perché non corrispondeva alle sue aspettative di leggerezza e maneggevolezza. Si trova meglio con la scopa perchè lei tutti i giorni vuole pulire bene la casa. Come quasi ogni donna devo dire. Viva le donne, se non ci fossero loro.. Quindi, se siete come me (pratici e poco schizzinosi), fatelo vostro. Se invece siete come mia moglie (leggero + adattivo = meglio), forse è meglio valutare la combo scopa e paletta o direttamente l’aspirapolvere.
