What I love; this is super long it’s well-made and sturdy so even for a heavy dog it’s not going to move around or shake or bend. With this even on my 4×4 the angle wasn’t too steep.What I don’t love; it is heavy, Something to be aware of if you have any issues lifting heavy stuff, also it’s supposed to be nonslip and my elderly dog slipped very badly on this several times so I am getting rid of them and getting steps instead the nonslip could definitely be better I don’t actually think this would be an issue if you was using a car with a low boot but with an SUV the angle is obviously a bit steeper so again something to consider if you have a dog with mobility issues.So these are well made, nice and wide and a good angle particularly with a normal lower car.

Easy to use, but the supplied carabiner is too small to clip around the locking pin on a ŠKODA Octavia estate, however you can obtain a larger one quite cheaply and it is easy enough to change, I found the ramp easy to operate even when I had the dog on one hand, he found it strange at first as he used to jump into the boot of my estate, but with a little training he soon got the hang of it. I would have liked a little more protection on the underside of the ramp to prevent it scratching the paint work of my car, this is also easy to fix with a little bit of adhesive rubber strip, the plastic stoppers soon fell out of the ends of the ramp, they are not the most durable item, but the ramp still works even when they are missing. I store the ramp inside the boot when the dog is out, and when he is aboard I store it behind my drivers seat, this limits the number of passengers I can take with me, as it effectively takes up a seat. A ramp is a good idea for your dog, as it takes less effort for him to get on and off the car and less likely to cause your dog any harm, My dog is a Labrador and weighs about 50kg, he’s on a diet!

Excellent ramp, the only bit of plastic I can see are the buckles (slide snaps) to keep it in its packable form. Nice & sturdy, carpet on the ramp is not slippery, so no problem in that respect. We have only just received it , but already tested it out with our 9year old who is a 50kg large breed dog, by placing it up to the couch. We placed some treats along the top of the ramp to entice her to go to it, and in just a few seconds she was on the ramp & proudly sat on the couch enjoying her treats. Very pleased with the size, the ease of storing it.

It’s a very sturdy ramp and perfectly safe for all dogs ..unfortunately I had to return it as it was SO heavy…too difficult to open/ close whilst holding onto dog ..I’m late 60s but am reasonably fit and I was so keen to keep the ramp. Definitely well made ..but be aware it is heavy.

An easy to use dog mounting platform. Easy to assemble and store in the car. Does have sharp edges when folded up so be careful. Attached to the boot lock assembly easily and safely and my springer uses it willingly.

This is an excellent ramp. After trying several for my dog with spinal problems, this was the one he would walk on.It attachs to the car for security when using and folds up when not in use. It took a couple of uses to get the hang of doing it quickly! It can be heavy to fold and manoeuvre as it is metal, but this also makes it very durable.I deducted a star because although the carpet is a great idea for paws, in rain it can be slightly slippy ( we get around this by placing a large towel over ramp which does the job). My dog is large at around 35kgs and this holds him with ease. Would recommend.

¡Es fantástico! Mi perra de 31 kilos tenía que subir al coche en brazos y no lo pasa bien. Puse la rampa el día que me llegó y en lo que tardé en coger una salchicha para animarla a subir resultó que ya se había subido ella sola. La gusta y a mí también. El material el bueno, la zona verde hace que no resbale. Yo apoyo la rampa sin poner el mosquetón porque si no cuesta sacarlo. Pesa bastante eso sí pero es por la robustez del material. La única pega no es culpa del producto o del material es porque haya aparcado alguien detrás y esté demasiado cerca para extender la rampa
