I have held off on reviewing this as it had a mixed press when I was looking.I am very impressed.Use espresso ground coffee for best results. You will get a fantastic coffee with your choice of blend. I like Lavazza Rosso but it is your choice that matters.All espresso needs the cup to be warmed. Don’t forget this step.If you’re making americano, hot water first.It does take time to cool down from steaming milk. If you’re making a job lot of caffe late make the espresso shot and warm your milk after.This product is extremely good value for money, easy to clean and sleek on your work surface.

This espresso machine may be small and really cheap but it is also very capable. The pump is strong enough to support a bottomless porta-filter. I am using the Casabrew 51mm version, 3 tabs. The milk steamer is the professional single hole type which, with a little practice, can produce a velvety microfoam for latte. This machine is way better than the `very similar deLonghi it is replacing.My advice is to buy this espresso machine and put the money you save towards a decent grinder – I am very happy with the 1Zpresso J ultra. Not cheap but worthwhile, especially if you are going for a bottomless porta-filter.

Love this machine as someone who just simply wants great tasting espresso at home. Can make cheap coffee taste good! The extraction can be quite bubbly for some reason but always a lovely thick crema! the milk frother is quite temperamental as you do need to purge it every time, sometimes twice… it also squirts out water off and on for about 5s when you start the steam which is kinda annoying but truly a minor when you look at the price compared to higher end machines as id rather pay 1/10th and deal with it!Pros:Great tasting espresso (even pre-ground, cheap coffee tastes good)Great priceNice thick cremaNice size for small kitchen spaceEasy to useEasy to cleanCons:Steam feature is temperamentalDifficult to figure out the milk frother due to pressureCan overheat easily- frequent purgingBubbly extraction…if you care

Makes a lovely cappuccino. Bought to take on holiday so OH didn’t get withdrawal symptoms. Neat design and will make two cups at a time if wanted. The milk wand took a day or two to get used to and produce the correct froth. Heard no complaints about cleaning it and so far no leaks.

The coffee machine works well and I happy with it but the portafilter is not good quality. After using it and washing it a few times, the aluminum went grey and started leaving black residue when I touched it. It became unusable and I had to throw it away. Really disappointing

I don’t write reviews very often, so you could say this is my first one. This purchase could be quite expensive for somebody, so I decided to share my opinion to help other buyers.This coffee machine is a great choice for those who love coffee. I only drink coffee with milk, so I was looking for a machine with a steam wand. I read a lot of reviews on this product – I’ve had the machine for 2-3 months now, and everything works perfectly.Thanks to the other reviews, I was prepared for the fact that the machine is noisy. This is true, but it wasn’t a problem for me, as I prioritized other factors when choosing.Some people received faulty machines; the only issue I noticed was a cracked red part that’s used as a steam wand cleaner, but this is absolutely not a problem for me.Another thing I noticed when buying the coffee machine in silver is that it gets smudged easily. Some fingerprints stay on it until you clean it with glass cleaner (so far, that’s the only thing I’ve tried, so I’m not sure if other cleaners would work). This is only an issue for perfectionists. I think most people won’t even notice it.As for the machine’s operation – it’s pretty easy to figure out. The package includes two manuals: one is more detailed, and the other is a quick-start guide with pictures showing how to set up the machine and make coffee. So, I understood how to use it very quickly.The coffee turns out amazing. I can even drink it without sugar. I know a lot depends on the type of coffee, so I chose one that’s not too acidic or overly roasted (Lavazza Qualita Rossa).Overall, it’s a worthy purchase. I really enjoy the process itself; it’s meditative. I hope I’ll be able to update this review over time. It will be interesting to see and report how the machine performs once the manufacturer’s warranty expires.

Ottimo prodotto! E c’è un anche un ago per la pulizia delle fessurire!Se deve avere una pecca, la/le tazzine traballano un po’ durante l’erogazione del caffè. Perché la macchina è piccola è compatta (adatta anche ad un cucinino) e quindi vibra un po’…Ma avendo la vasca dell’acqua piena si arriva vibra un po’ di meno

It’s quiet machine that makes really, really nice coffee every time. Bought it to be used at a remote location but really thinking to replace our more expensive machine with this one for the sake of simplicity and usefulness. The company has done its job with packaging – everything was neatly wrapped and well preserved in the box. And also there are many useful guidelines and not a dry manual, but a really light one. Great job Casabrews!

Buena cafetera.
Después de cinco meses de uso puedo decir que es una cafetera muy buena. No es una gama top, pero por “poco” dinero prepara un café muy bueno (eso sí, siempre usando marcas un poco decentes de café (ahí ya entran los gustos de cada uno). Si usas café de supermercado, pues eso, no esperes milagros. Ocupa poco espacio, no hace excesivo ruido. Yo compré aparte el portafiltros no presurizado, y parece una bobada, pero se nota diferencia (he dejado reseña en el portafiltros casabrews, en el que explico los motivos de esas diferencias.). La usamos tres adultos y coincidimos en que hace muy buen café (nada que ver con las dichosas cápsulas), pero repito, usando marcas “buenas”.
