I wear hearing aids so I cannot wear ear studs and have to wear bulky over ear headphones. These ear phones are great! They just sit over the ear and are so light and discreet. I use them to listen to podcasts while working in the garden and kitchen. So amazed at the long range when my tablet is actually sitting in the house while I listen with good clarity in the garden. Sometimes there is a little slag if I wonder a bit far from the house but the sound quickly picks up again. It is amusing that nobody notices that I am wearing them as they are covered by the hair!

This is my second pair of these headphones, which I find very useful. It takes a little while to get the controls sorted (these can be adjusted in the app), but after that, plain sailing. I don’t like, and can’t wear in-the-ear ones, and these do the job nicely. Don’t expect the same loudness as in-the-ear, but they are more than ample in volume (I wear mine all the time, and even on my bike), and of course you still have spatial awareness with other sounds. My first pair are still working, though after being dropped too many times (my fault, and the last time at some speed) they haven’t reset quite right (which they always did on previous occasions). Recommended. Buy the ones that have been returned for a really good price, they are still in really good condition…

This type of open ear style was a first for me. I have never used this type of design before. But I must say I was pleasantly surprised. Below is my personal opinion re the true free 01 wireless outer ear, earphones.The packaging:-The device is presented in a nice premium box. It contains the true free 01 outer earphones in theor case. As well as the USB and manualsThe Case:-I must say I didn’t expect the Case to be a as big as this. It is a huge case in comparison to todays other in ear devices. However the case being huge is understandable since these arw outer ear devices and not the in ear type. The case is very well made and jas a sound premium feel to it. The materials used are very good and it feels solid in the hand. The case has a closing sound which has me hooked. The hinge mechanism is solid and it will last long. The inner part of the case is full gloss and looks nice with outer part of the case being a matt grey. There are battery LED indicator lights which make it easy to keep up with how much battery is left. Foe the size they dont seem ton weigh much. Maybe due do the case being constructed from ABS plastic is why. I compared the true free 01 case to my Mifo 05s. And the Mifo case was quite a bit heavier and about a quarter in size. Overall the case is nice, sturdy with a premium feel. But do be aware the case is not pocket friendly and wont fit in a jeans pocket. But carrying it in your bag, rucksack etc is just fine.Case Battery:-The case battery will last forever. It can charge the outer earphones fully at least 5 times from my experience. When I received the true free 01 the case battery was on 2 lights. I didn’t have to recharge the case for 12 days. The battery life ok the case is amazing.Outer earphones:-This design was a first for me. When I first took them out of the case i immediately figured out how these would go on and around my outer ear. The design is quite cool. They are weighted at bottom end so they stay in place on your ears. They are matt coloured with small LED indicator lights. Once placed on they don’t move and you can aue these for jogging, exercise etc. Without the worry of them falling off. The design is quite genius in my opinion. They may look as of they wont stay put during an exercise session but surprisingly they don’t shift. The true free 01 sit on the outer part of the ear canal. This makes it very comfortable to wear for long periods without ear pain. As they do not go into the ear canalSound:-This was a big surprise for me. I didn’t have much expectations on the sound being any good. But fortunately I was wrong. The sound is beautiful, crisp and clear. Even thought they sit on the outer canal of the ear, they sound immensely good. I times different types of music to test them. A bit of Michael Jackson, some R&B, dance music, classical songs such as Ben E. King. All of the music be it instrumental or vocals sounded so crisp and clear. But one thing to note is do not expect a bassy sound. These arw jot designed for that. But vocals, highs ans kows are brilliant for the true free 01s are made for. Even at full volume the sound did not distort. They arw loind enough for pwollw who just want clarity, clear and crsip sound. I also connected these to my smart TV. And I must say it was the best experience in watching TV without being disturbed for a long time. There was no lag and all the subtle background sounds in the movies could be heard. These are my go to for watching movies etc. I handed these to my son so he would test them on his games console. And he loved them. He said they were in his top 3 for using during obmije gaming. He said they were very comfortable, clear sound and he forgot he was wearing them after a while. I now have to buy him is own pair as he loves them so much.Outer ear Buds battery:-The battery on the true free 01 outer ear buds is awesome. The battery on first use out of the box lasted me 6.5 hours. After fully charging the Buds in the case. They lasted over 8 hours with heavy usage. This is amazing and, especially if you use them to watch TV and then use them to watch YouTube etc. They will last hours before a recharge is in order. Knowing that I can use the Buds for multiple purposes and not worry about battery life is a big plus.Misc:-I tested the outer ear Buds by lying down, with my head on a pillow. They were a little awkward due to the design. But i still managed to use them for a while. It juat depends what type of pillow your have and whether you have the patience to try and get your head in the major comfortable position. It can be done but is a little fiddly.Conclusion:-These are a must have at this price point. The sound clarity for music, TV, gaming. The comfort these provide without ear or head fatigue. The premium build and battery life. The True Free 01 outer ear Buds are an awesome piece of kit. And I recommend these to anyone who uses inner ear Buds to give them a try. You won’t be disappointed. Using the True Free 01s is an experience in of it’s own. I use them more than my other premium Buds.Score out of 5 – 4.8

I didn’t expect these to be any good. They’re cheap so likely to be rubbish eh? – or so I thought. I wanted some open ear buds to use when cycling the local lanes around where I live so that I could hear music or sat nav instructions from my Velo 2 but still be able to hear traffic, bird noises, etc. also I wanted them to stay in place and not be tempted to fall out of my ears on the ride. These buds are perfect in both respects plus I really couldn’t feel them on my ears. They do not provide the most amazing bass response but are still adequate for their purpose with excellent sound quality. I found myself happily singing my head off along to my Spotify play lists whilst still absolutely in control of my surroundings. I actually cycled more miles as I was thoroughly enjoying the experience.I cannot recommend them highly enough. Great item.

Best thing I’ve ever bought!! Connects really easily to my phone and even my pc! Quality is great, and the design means if, like me, you suffer with problems with your ears so normal earbuds that go inside just irritate your ear then you need to get these! They sit over your ear, super comfortable I forget I’m wearing them, don’t worry if you wear glasses as it will sit over the frame and it’s still comfortable. You can also hear what’s going on around you so if you’re wearing them whilst out walking, you can still stay safe!

I really like these headphones. I like to be able to hear around me while listening to a podcast at home or out and about so I don’t miss anything important. I tried them on the London Underground and these are definitely NOT the headphones for listening there. But if you are in a quieter environment and want situational awareness, these are pretty good.I’m only rating them a 3 as they aren’t great for noisy places but also because after 6 months of not excessive use, the case won’t charge more than a third (based on the light system at the front) no matter how long I leave it plugged in. Which of course limits the usefulness of the headphones as well, which also don’t hold the charge as well. I get maybe 4 hours out of them, if I’m lucky. If they were still charging fully, I’d rate them at least a 4. But I don’t buy products to last only 6 months. I paid £40 for them, which I feel makes the poor charging a real issue less than a year on.

El artículo corresponde con la descripción. Es el modelo Truefree 01 (existen varios video-tutoriales y descripciones en Youtube). Los he usado haciendo actividad física, me llamó la atención que fueran open-ear y estaba un poco escéptico de su funcionamiento, volumen y demás; pero mi sorpreso fue que funcionan de maravilla, tienen un volumen bastante adecuado, no lastiman nada (uso lentes y no afecta el funcionamiento) y sí llegan a privarte del sonido externo sin sentirte aislado de todo sonido (como pasa con los in-ear).Hasta estos momentos, son todo lo que han mencionado, tienen una conexión al dispositivo al momento de abrir la case protectora. A veces, da la impresión que se “están cayendo” pero no lo hacen, solo que por estar fuera del oido pareciera que se desprenden (tal vez por la sensación de haber usado mucho tiempo audífonos in-ear). Tienen una duración bastante prolongada.La sensación de los materiales son tal cual lo que estás pagando, no se sienten materiales de calidad premium, no obstante, por el precio esto es más que razonable. Una desventaja considerable es que al poder ser manipulados con un toque, si tienen contacto con sudor, se puede “presionar” un atajo sin que lo hayas querido hacer, no ha sido una constante, pero me ha sucedido. Una vez más, por el precio, está más que justificado y no es un tema de todos los días.Tal vez cuesta un poco acostumbrarse a ellos por el formato que tienen pero por el precio, la batería y las ventajas que tienen son unos auténticos: buenos, bonitos y baratos.
