Purchased this for my Mum as she was struggling using smart phones. Big buttons, clear screen, nice and loud internal and external speakers, Sim card (Standard) slipped straight in and phone started up in seconds with no issues. Battery life is really good, 3 days took it down to half way so probably about 5 days or so which is excellent. You can see who is calling before you flip it too which is ideal. I would use this myself if i didn’t need to have things that you can’t put on one of these types of phones.Really happy with it. You just cannot beat simplicity.

Excellent choice for people who can’t/don’t use smart phones. I bought this for my elderly aunt who is totally technology phobic and it’s perfect for her. She says the buttons are extremely easy to dial numbers with. The 3 memory function buttons are a great idea for your 3 most frequently called numbers. However we had to deactivate the SOS button as she was accidentally pressing it when taking the phone out of her handbag or pocket. She had accidentally called 999 several times when the button was touched inadvertently. Fortunately the feature is very easy to activate and deactivate so it was an easy fix.The date/time feature on the small front window screen is very useful to her and is shown in a large enough font size to be easily read. She previously had a foldable DORO fone which is similar to this but twice the price. We paid £40 for this phone and the DORO is £80. She’s had 2 of the Doro phones and she said this one is a lot better. This phone may be a brand that nobody has heard of, but it works well and is good enough for someone that doesn’t want or need a smart phone. The call quality is good, the speaker volume is loud enough and the features are very useful. We would recommend this phone to anyone who wants a low-tech clamshell foldable style mobile.

I wanted a replacement for a dead back-up phone that I could just slip in my pocket when I’m out and about. The choice was limited because it needed to accommodate a standard (old-fashioned) sim card (and, yes, I know there are other ways around this, but I just wanted the most straight forward solution). However, this looked like a good option, particularly as it’s relatively large screen makes it more practical than most.I would have given it 5 stars but for one slight problem. Even though it is a clamshell-type phone the keypad is very sensitive to pressure so, even through the shell, random numbers or parts of the menu were appearing on the screen depending on exactly where the pressure was applied (simply by walking or bending over). Fortunately, in the brief time I’ve had the phone, this hasn’t resulted in any accidental calls or messages, but it looks like it would only be a matter of time.Never mind, I’ve got another use for the phone and in the meantime I’ve bought this one:https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B096NS1V51?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_titleIt's only just arrived, so very early days, but it has a lock screen feature, takes two standard-size sim cards rather than just the one and the screen, whilst the same size, is landscape rather than portrait, which suits me better. All in all, I think the G2302 model is probably a better buy than the G385.

I got this phone for my nan to use as its simple and easy, as i previously bought it for my uncle who has learning difficulties. At first i was impressed, for the price it worked well, it loud, writing is large and clear. Its light is weight and plastic. The battery lasted well also but my nan hardly uses it, maybe 1 phone call to myself a day. Today the battery has gone, completely wont charge, so iv swapped it over with her brothers battery (same phone different colours) and put her battery in her brothers phone and the battery is the issue, whats a shame as this phone is still under 6 months old. My uncles had his 3 months so time will tell it this is just poor quality or a one off.So although it is value for money, its a risk as to if it works – for long.

Purchased for a family member who has learning difficulties to replace an old one that had terrible sound and he couldn’t hear properly.Easy to set up, has great sound as he can hear properly and I can hear him perfectly. I purchased the charging Dock which makes it sp easy to find it and charge it at the same time. It’s a winner from me.

This is the second one I’ve bought of these phones for my mum, the first one was perfect but didn’t have the charging dock and with her parkinsons mum struggled to get the charging cable in the phone, so having the charging dock has made life so much easier for her and has put our minds at ease knowing her mobile is charged at all times and we can check in with her at any given time. The phone is simple and easy to use so even with her dementia, she only has to flip the front and it answers. Highly recommend this phone.

It looks a nice phone. But quality is VERY POOR!!Speaker is VERY QUIET, and also is not clear at all!?Plastic it’s made of seems flimsy. And the screen hads bad resolution and viewing angles are VERY POORbas well! If you do not look at the phone directly square dead on from the front, the display looses clarity! From what little clarity it has anyway! As it DID seem bright, but colours were VERY BADLY represented on screen.Overall terrible experience. Going to return, as NOT fit for purpose! Especially as the speaker is either the first or second most important part. And this is next to useless! So DEFINITELY not as described, which is a misrepresentation and not allowed in the UK under the trading standards laws!So will be seeking a refund!
