How to use
- Unfold the ARIFARO Humane Live Trap Cage.
- Align and insert the door frame with the edge of the main body, then secure it in place using the hooks on both sides.
- Place the trigger plate by inserting its ends into the pre-drilled holes, and fix it in position with a pin.
- Over the linkage on the cage with that of the trigger plate. Ensure the main body’s linkage is on the inside, while the trigger plate’s linkage is positioned on the outside.
- Insert the side panels into the door frame and place them over the linkages.
- Installation is now complete and the trap is ready for use.

Bought the 100 x 30 x 29 model and it was big enough for a cat. Easy to put together. Caught the adult cat I needed to within a few hours (technically I had the trap out a day before but it rained all day so the ham I used as bait got too soggy to be appetising, but with dry weather and fresh ham it worked straight away). Very pleased. Keep a close eye out for when you catch a cat because of course it bangs as the doors come down and the cat can get distressed but no way round this with any trap.

Dont really like quality of this cage.Its feels and looks so unstable and feels like its will fall apart.But size is good and good installation instruction was included.

In terms of build quality this is good for what it is. The metalwork is a decent gauge, it’s straightforward to construct and once built it has a solid feel to it. I did have to bend out the hooks on mine that retain the end sections that contain the sliding doors. As it was the hooks wouldn’t clip over the end pieces to hold them tight and they needed a bit of persuasion with some pilers.Once built it does work in theory. Touching the plate section internally where bait is placed causes both doors to crash down very quickly and there isn’t any wiggle room for anything sizeable inside to escape via nor bite through. The only question mark for me and the reason it’s not 5 stars yet is the trigger on it is very rudimentary. You have a flatten section of bar pressing against another bar and tension keeps the doors up. Once the plate is pressed one bar rotates relieving the tension and the doors are released. It’s this that seems like it could be prone to false triggering and i have hadn’t enough time with it in place yet to know if it’ll be an issue or not. It’s working so far as the doors remain up, but nothing caught yet (bait untouched), but no false positives either.Easy to build, good enough build quality and it does seem to work well. I’m just waiting for something to take the bait now!
