I bought this as I needed a surge protector for my small electrical items that I value such as my phone, kindle, gaming controls, etc. I love that each socket has individual switches, they have a great sturdy click to them so that you can tell when you have turned them on or off easily. The Usbs have a switch which is also handy. You can turn each item off to prevent over charging and to save money on electricity which is very important with the cost of it at the moment.The 3 metre cable is incredibly useful as I take this with me when going away in the UK as it stretches across average rooms from awkward socket placements.Great to use and I also like the coloured switches. If you have the kind to brain that associates your phone with a set colour it might be fun to match it to one of the rainbow of switches.

Really nice extension set where each plug is colour coded to the switch and it feels like the whole set has been made with quality.USB plugs are also a great addition and work great.I went with the 5m cable instead of the 3m as it was only a £2 difference and you never know when you might need the longer length even though at the moment i only need 3m.Now – the reason for the one star removal is the design of the switches, the pink one has nothing to do with the plug sockets, its to turn on the USB plugs. I had a plug in for what i thought was this switch and assumed that it was broke and i was going to send it back. They should put a gap between this and the sockets themselves as i wont be the only one who goes down this road or indeed, someone will send it back. A great idea to switch the USB sockets but just badly designed.
Electric –
Bought this extension lead for my daughter after her dressing table was assembled by didn’t have a socket nearby. I was able to put it (5m cable) around the skirting board so as to not cause a tripping hazard.I like the fact you can switch on and off each individual socket as needed, with each switch having a different colour (which my daughter liked) it’s supposedly surge protected, the price is good for this type of extension lead.Not sure she’ll ever use the usb ports as they’re just not equipped to deliver super fast charging that is the norm of today.The number of sockets is good, although it’s important to remember the sockets are limited to a max of 13amps in total (not each) despite it being possible to max that out by having electrics plugged in going over. Lots of people have talked about the being issues with sparks etc, thankfully so far we’ve not had that. At the end of the day it’s a 13amp socket used for multiple devices, this doesn’t change the capacity of the socket, just distributes this across other devices.
