Great machine. Wasn’t originally planning on spending this much, but decided to get a better vacuum sealer from the get go so it’d last for longer. I’m so glad I did! And I also managed to snap it up on sale.I have vacuum sealed meat, herbs and cheese and it’s been super easy and the bags are still air tight, several months after. We freeze the meat after vacuum sealing it and once defrosted it tastes fresh (there’s no comparison with just wrapping it in cling film).

Essentially I had a cheaper no name alternative but because of its flaky performance I under utilised it. The times it worked it helped organisation of foods and felt like it was worth trying a more expensive version and ended up going for one that was much more expensive. I got it for what I consider good value on promo, but having used it for a while now, my mind is set and I’ll never be without one. Sad to say that about an appliance, I know.One small thing I mentioned in the title of it being noisy, most of these devices are due to the pumps, but this one is a little louder than I’m used to and it squats when vacuuming starts. However, that being said, the functionality is brilliant and clear, a couple of functions could be documented a little clearer as I found them by accident but are great little helper features.I use this weekly at minimum with prepped meals to put into portions more easily, tidying up my freezer to give me more space and letting it do it’s job more efficiently. I would recommend it to anyone, the one I received is way better than the no name, cheaper option I had before.
PS –
Overall very good value for money and better than other semi commercial vacuum sealers I have had. You would need to spend a lot more to get a significantly improved performance. So perfect for home use and well constructed.

Excellent vacuum packer, takes rolls and bags, incredible amount of suction and double seals, we grow lots if veg and it now almost all gets vacuum packed before freezing, we marinade whole racks of ribs and cuts of meat before vac packing and freezing, really gets the flavour into the meat, not sure how we managed without one.
