This clock is great value for money. I have read reviews saying it is difficult to use and while it can be a tiny bit tricky with all the buttons, especially if you wait until night time to set it when you are tired, I don’t see how they could make it much simpler given that there are so many options e.g. brightness, sound, volume, 2 alarm options, snooze function and sunset option. I would set aside 20 minutes to read the instructions and just practice before you need to go to bed, and keep the instruction manual next to the bed until you get used to it.I love that you can turn off the time display at night which provides an alarm clock with no annoying light interfering with sleep. The light options are so varied and the sunset option is really great, sometimes I use it when I am getting ready for bed to provide a nice, calm, increasingly dark light to help me get in the mood for sleep.One thing I would like is maybe more sound options. I am not a great morning person and so I find myself becoming irritated by even the few calming sound options in the morning. However, I ended up switching the sound to the radio to wake me which I thought I would never use, but in fact I find it great! There is always a new sound to irritate me so I don’t associate the sound of birds, waves etc. with having to get out of bed. It is also cheaper than a lot of other options which is great.I would also like to find an easier way to turn down the volume in the morning- I don’t think the volume buttons work when I wake up and realise the volume on the radio required to wake me is too loud for me to continue listening as I get ready for the day. I am sorry if I’m wrong, but frantically pressing the volume buttons in an irritated, tired mood doesn’t seem to work for me, I think it may remain at the pre-set volume from the night before?

This is great value for money as you can spend a lot of these sort of clocks.I love the good range of brightness for the sunrise, and range of volume for the alarm (and you can choose to have no alarm sound at all). I like the volume low so it only wakes me up gently.The sun gradually rises in brightness over the time period you set.There are varying options for the alarm sound, or none at all if you wish. I chose the radio, but there are nature sounds you can choose e.g. birds tweeting. Although the nature sounds are very nice they are very short and then repeat, which gets quite annoying, which is my only negative.Others have mentioned the instructions being difficult to follow. I didn’t find this personally, and thought they were surprisingly well written for something coming from China! I would recommend you follow the directions closely and work through in order as there are a lot of options to go through (and some you’ll probably not use). You may also want a magnifying glass!! The buttons on the clock are small and quite hard to clearly see the symbol in order to match it up with the ones shown in the instructions!I’ve been using it for a 7 weeks now and I love it. Once it’s setup you don’t really need to touch it again. There are two alarm settings you can apply, so I have one for weekday and one for weekend. You just need to remember to turn them on/off as required.I’m very happy with this purchase, for the price it is excellent.

I like this as I sometimes have to get up well before sunrise and this doesn’t disturb my partner like an audible alarm does. The sunrise feature is good for waking up more naturally- I set it to start coming on 20 minutes before I need to get up. Having two alarm settings is good so that I can set for different times on different days. I do wish the light had more temperature options as it could be more natural. It could also be a little simpler to set up. If I want to set it at night, I have to also go through the light options when I change the alarm time which can be annoying for my partner who is already in the dark trying to sleep.

super cool and makes my iphone alarm history, if u turn it off from the socket, it still has the correct time when u switch it back on, so no need to leave it on all the time. Keep the manual although it may be simple to use, some of the things can be easily forgotten.

Has been my daily alarm for over a year now. Can’t recommend it enough. Getting abruptly woken by generic alarms sucks. It’s nice being woken up by a a soft light that gradually gets brighter. You’ll find that most mornings you’ll wake up before the alarm goes off and it really makes a difference to how peaceful you feel getting up. Or at least “not stressed” from an abrupt loud noise like most alarms.Great alarm, highly recommend.

Changes my winter mornings completely
I was used to waking up around the time the sun rose, in winter. However, now that I have to wake up earlier, getting up in the morning had become a struggle.This alarm is a wonderful solution for those dark and cold winter mornings, where you really don’t want to get up.It starts slowly getting brighter 40 minutes before the alarm time (I usually do not wake up, despite the brightness, until the alarm rings). The light gently nudges you awake. It is possible to customize the start time of the light, as well as its brightness. The maximum brightness is not comparable to that of a sun lamp, but still bright enough to simulate early sunrise.The alarm itself is fully customizable, including the ringing sound, which can be replaced by songs or ambient sounds.It also has a snooze option of 9 minutes.During the day, I use it as ambient lighting (it has different colors, some of which remind of candlelight, or a fireplace, and others which are rainbow or multicolored) or as a lamp.Would definitely recommend, as the price is honest and the product is well made and useful. People who need light to wake up in the morning will find this product to be essential in the dark months.
