写真を載せましたが、丸まった状態でフィルムに包まれて届きます。まず、床の敷きたい部分をしっかり掃除して乾燥させてから、こちらをひろげてのせ、最初は丸めていた跡がついてますので重さをし（我が家は1リットルペットボトルを何ヶ所ものせました）、だいたい半日もすればそれなりに平らになってくれます。ロボット掃除機のルンバを使っていて、これまではクッションマットだったのですが、段差でガタガタ音がするのが嫌で思い切ってこちらに変えましたが、スムーズで満足してます。家の雰囲気を変えずに床面の保護にピッタリです。

この商品 最近の例に漏れず「Made in China」がデーンと大書された段ボールの長箱に収められて届く。またまた中国工業製品は『高品質の証』を雄弁に語るが如しで（苦笑した爺々）でも、本当に良く使用者に配慮された商品で文句のつけようが無いのです。いやそりゃぁ「たかがPVC素材の透明マット」では在るんですけどねぇ。爺々は60cmｘ150cmの大きさのものをキッチンマットとしてジャストサイズとの認識で購入しました。この点は大当たりで、台所のキッチンシンク前の床（足場）に設置。目的は単純・・・シンクから跳ねて散る料理や後片付け中の水滴で床を濡らすことを回避するための一択。従前は繰り返し洗える速乾性のロングサイズの布製キッチンマットを敷いていた。その後春先前からバンブーマットを台所床に敷くようになりキッチンマットと重ねて使用。バンブーマットは表面に熱を持たず廊下続きの台所は猫様達にとって風の通り道のため この手の仕様は喜ばれるし、作業中の足裏の感触もサラッと爺々にも気持ちよかった。ただバンブーマットは一枚の板（マット状）に非ずで、その麻雀牌を紐でつなげた構造は、往々にしてゴミの掃き出しや最悪猫様のリバースの時に清掃後始末で悪戦苦闘を強いられてきた。そこで本商品購入しての諸々対処なわけです！他の方のレビューにも云われている通り かなりきっちりと巻かれて届きますので・・・設置前に充分に平らに広げる作業が必要となりますが、この時に「ご注意あれ！」 この商品裏表が在るんです。表面はエンボス仕上げされて接触感がサラッと感じられるように。そして裏面はツルツルとして本来の素材の持つ柔らかさによって床面に吸着するように・・・そうしっかりと配慮された商品なんです！ ただ表面保護の為でしょうが「裏面を外側に表面を内側に巻かれて届いているのです」 よってまるまろうとする癖を広げようと考えれば「人は誰でも 表面を下に裏面を上にして床に押し付けようとするでしょ！」 これでさぁ広げられたとするなら 裏表逆の設置になってしまうんです！（商品解説をよく読まずに設置作業に入った爺々は、この点であっさりと勘違いして行動してましたね）・・・これじゃぁエンボス加工の効果が実感出来なくなってしまって「メーカーさん御免なさいm(__)m」になってしまう。また素材そのものも・・・「新素材比率で製造され、BPA、o-ベンゼン、ホルムアルデヒドを含まないPVC素材で作られています。食品に直接触れることができ、プラスチック臭がなく、品質が良い。」と至れり尽くせりなんですよ。中国工業製品怖るべし！ 添付の画像一枚は、キッチンシンク足元の設置中の画像です。ちょっと判りづらいですが、印刷物チラシの下辺が60cmの大きさを示すラインと御理解下さい。この時はまだ爺々 お恥ずかしながら裏表の違いについて気づいておりませんでした！ ちゃんちゃん。

設置したときには特にイヤな匂いがきついなと感じることはなかったです。ただ、素材を刻んだだけのような気もしないでもないので、フチの処理をしてあったら良かった。一応模様(柄)はあるけれど透明で目立たないです。あまり主張しすぎないモノが欲しい人にはお勧めかな。

Very pleased with the quality – for use as a protector for an existing vinyl floor covering, it is resilient because of its thickness and material; more so, I would think, than a number of much cheaper products suggested on the Amazon website. Easy to trim to the required shape.
