Goth Gone Grey –
As advertised, but not good for the intended purpose
From the description, certain things are specified:- 3 levels of heat, with automatic cool-down periods in between.- 3 massage levels.- 47″ elastic belt to hold it in place.- Quick charging, and holding a charge. It arrived in a lovely box, fully charged yet with a charge cable. When I plugged it in to charge upon arrival, I was greeted with a full battery. Nice. The furry side goes on the outside, not against your skin. The part that goes against you is a slightly velvety feel, with two massage points. The belt, unstretched, is at 29″. Expecting it to stretch to 47″ while still being comfortable is… Optimistic. I wore it across my waist – somewhere between the two measurements, for discretion – and can’t see it reasonably expanding while not feeling tight. The heat… Now, for my expectations, I use a heating blanket on high, all night, with a few inches of blankets on top of it. So this, starting at 149 degrees is nice. Dropping to 131 degrees after 15 minutes, less so. Dropping again to 113 degrees? Pointless. I didn’t even feel that. The listing advises wearing this over clothing. I tested over a thin gauze shirt and still only really enjoyed the hottest setting. For any listed use for “that time,” it’s going to take a lot longer than 15 minutes to help my abdomen feel better. You can restart the cycle, but having to do that 4 times an hour is annoying. On to the massage aspect! I tried each of the settings, and at best it felt like a small cat kneading my stomach in two spots. That’s not considered theraputic, other than that kittens are cool. It is fairly silent, so point for that.TL;DR: It’s exactly as described, which isn’t hot enough for long enough to help with “feminine distress.” As much as I want to give it 5 stars for truth in advertising, for the price point you’re better off getting a heating pad or belt that will do more good, which means this feels more like a 3. We’ll split thus difference and call it a reluctant 4.

Small size, mixed results
This belt works decently well as an abdomen warmer if worn correctly. It needs to be belted near the hips so that the heating element will be against the wearer’s lower abdomen, where the cramps are located. If it is worn correctly and the heating element is placed well, it is warm enough to feel a difference and I did find it to ease my cramps somewhat. If it is not worn correctly, it will barely feel like any heat is coming off of it at all. It also needs to be fitted snugly and given at least 5 minutes on high (65 C) before the sense of warmth reaches a useful degree. As other reviewers have noted, this is heating belt is on the small size. It is elastic and has some stretch but I think the manufacturers would have been wiser to add a longer belt with a slider buckle so that this would be useful to a wider customer base. As it stands, it is probably an XS to MED. I wear a size 10 and found it a little snug for comfort. When deciding if this is right for you, go by your hip measurements, not your waist.I did not find that the massage feature did anything useful for me. I tried all of the different massage settings and none of them felt like they decreased my discomfort. For me, this is not really all that great a device. I only found one setting that did anything useful for me, and that was the high heat setting. The two lower settings were not warm enough for me to feel my pain decrease and the massage features didn’t appeal to me at all.I can’t really recommend this as it is not useful enough to be worth the price.

Great product
It’s not that time of the month yet but I charged this device and use it on my shoulder and I have to admit it gets pretty hot. Has three temperature settings and an automatic is shut off. Looking forward to it helping ease menstrual cramps.

really neat little device. Band is not big enough for a 16-18 Plus Size waist
I dislike that this heating pad is so chic and cute yet sadly excludes larger girls from wearing it the way it’s designed to be worn. That being said, I made some workarounds and even stretching it all the way it buckles it’s just really tight and very uncomfy. The device takes a good few hours to charge which they do say upfront. It’s so soft and the vibration is perfect for cramps and back pain. It really feels nice and the warmth gets pretty hot in the hottest setting but I don’t feel it delivers as much heat as it could. All things considered, I really like this and I will be using it when needed and using it for back and shoulder pain and massage. I got it mostly for that. I’m going to find a bigger strap but I don’t know if the manufacturer sells or has bigger straps. I’d buy one for this or craft one up. It’d just make all the difference so something to consider- it’s not so convenient and unnoticeable if you can’t wear the strap. Anyone over a US L/XL is likely gonna be uncomfy at the hip pelvic area level for the strap. I rate it a solid 4 otherwise and it deserves that besides this lack of inclusivity.
