I own a couple of dab radios, and to be honest never thought of short wave, not since as a kid in the 70s has there been a need to surf the static for stations that get fewer. then recently while talking to a friend iwas told that if there was a major emergency, AM and SW would be the frequencies the authorities would use . this is also apparently the first freq used for weather warnings. dont know how true but for the price its a must add for my camping trips. just hope I never need it. So whats this like ? comes with a usb cable for charging and comes with some charge , rechargable from mains with an adaptor, or from either a power bank or solar charger. Small at about 10cm x 7.5 x 5 and light enough for a pocket. comes with a wrist strap and telescopic antenna. Operated by glove friendly buttons, set up and station/frequency selection is simple while the largish led display is clear and readable. sound is suprisingly loud for such a small unit and makes clear hearing in or outside, though I would suggest headphones for in public or force 6 gales. Frequencies, FM = Well its fm, chosen for all commercial radio and prone to drop out and static when on the move or inside steel frame buildings, needs ariel moving for best reception, only marginally better than original dab. AM = far less stations but those you do find tend to be more stable and not suffering the problems of FM. SW = The least populated frequency, but unlike the others is not limited to local range, in the right circumstances can pick up signals in areas the others cant and from all over the world. normally apart from occasional stations, this is a field of static, but in an emergency local or global, this frequency will carry official information to the public, along with ham operators long after FM/AM/INTERNET/DAB has been disrupted. like insurance, sw should hopefully never be needed, but if it is then you will be glad you have it, and this neat, light and clear radio along with a good travel solar charger should have a place in every home, if only for the fun of trying to find a station.

I didn’t expect much for the price of this radio but I was surprised at how good it is.The reception is brilliant on all bands and for such a small size, the sound quility is great.Battery lasts a good 8 hours on 50% volume.Also a great radio for when the power is out.

Needed a small radio at work and this does the job for me. It’s small, the construction is solid and it works pretty well.The only thing I will say is the sound from such as small device while adequate isn’t going to blow your mind and the louder you have it the less battery life you get. 4 – 6 hours depending on volume from full to dead. But because it runs on a mobile phone battery you can just plug in your MINI usb adapter and charge it. This device might have been more versatile with a MICRO usb adapter instead which is more ubiquitous especially among android phone users. You can power it off a usb powerbar, beware that charging other devices near it can sometimes cause interference with the the radio.Tuning is easy enough, it’s got an auto scan function but it’s just as easy to type in a frequency. The display is nice and clear for radio use, I’ve not used it to play Mp3 which apparently it can do also. There are no points in the display, so for example 89.3fm is 893.You can plug other devices into it and also use the headphone socket to connect to a separate amp or speaker also.For what it is it’s a decent quality item.

Very good value, clear crisp rich sound from a neat compact and robust unit. I am impressed that such a relatively small player produces such a good sound. It plays MP3 files if you insert a micro SD card in the slot underneath. The radio has good reception even though the aerial is quite short. You can select the mode easily, (FM, AM and SW radio and MP3 player.) using the button marked M. In MP3 mode you can pause playback, and if you switch off, when you turn the player back on it continues from where you left off. You can also select any MP3 file by pressing the buttons if you know the track number, or you can scroll up and down using the arrow buttons. The battery is easily charged using a standard usb charger (not supplied) or I think you can plug it into your computer and charge it that way, although I haven’t tried it. The battery lasts for hours on a single charge.All in all a very good piece of kit, and good value too.

This is a pocket size radio (+usb card), ideal for taking to work too. I can save my phone battery and use headphones with this item. The sound is good for the size, even without headphones. Very clear audio. Scans all available radio stations. Requires charging every 10-12 hours of use, but unusable when charging. Recommended!

Usb cable that came with it was faulty(charging light kept flickering) so used a spare I had.When using ear bud cable the radio is a bit tippy if placed on a flat surface as it doesn’t have the weight to keep it stable.On some stations the FM reception is good until you take your hands off the radio & then there is hiss. On other stations the reception is good.Can’t really pick up any listenable reception on short wave( the radio names it OSW) In AM mode, there are very few stations it can receive. It could be that I live in a poor reception area? As suggested in instructions have tried near a window with little difference.Pity it is digital tuning as I would have preferred the old style tuning wheel for precision tuning. Can’t really get to grips with the tuning & pre setting of stations but I will persevere!Nice looking radio & appears well built. When you can get a non hiss station the sound is very good for the price.Rated it as 3 stars but this may improve as I get to grips with the tuning

Gutes kleines Radio zum Reisen
Die Verarbeitung ist gut. Der UKW Empfang ist gut. Für die Größe und den Preis hat es eine ordentliche Tonqualität. Natürlich kann man keine HiFi-Qualität erwarten. Die Bedienung ist leicht und übersichtlich. Der Akku hält je nach dem was als Quelle genutzt wird unterschiedlich lange. Beim Radio ca. 6 Stunden, bei der Nutzung über USB-Stick ca. 2 bis 4 Stunden. Die Größe ist perfekt zum Reisen, es nimmt keinen Platz weg und man kann es leicht überall verstauen.Positiv:+ Größe+ Tonqualität+ Bedienung+ Wiederaufladbarkeit+ Verschiedene Musikquellen nutzbar

最低限の機能があり操作がわかりやすい。バッテリーも相当もつし、充電も簡単です。私はスマホ充電器に充電ケーブル（USB）を繋いでやっています。毎日寝る前に1時間きいて、1、2週間は充電がいらないイメージです。

Concernant les délais et emballage, n’en parlons pas: toujours OK avec Discount Delights Prime.Quelques informations sur le produit lui-même:Il remplit bien sa fonction de recherche des stations en FM (il possède une très bonne sensibilité que de nombreuses radios beaucoup plus chères pourraient lui envier).Par ailleurs, le son est excellent vu le petit HP et le volume est suffisamment fort pour une pièce de 15m2 sans pousser le volume.Il restitue très bien les voix qui sont nettes et claires (à l’opposé de certaines radios ou les voix laissent entendre de façon permanente des sons graves, parfaitement inutiles pour l’intelligibilité et en dehors de toute réalité: quand je parle il n’y a pas de graves, mais seulement des médiums.La fonction USB marche bien aussi.Seul problème qui à mon sens devrait être améliorer: Avoir la possibilité de réaffecter le n° d’une station: Par exemple si la station 21 possède très bonne réception, on devrait pouvoir l’installer à la place de la station 2, par exemple qui elle n’a pas de réception du tout.Mais ce n’est pas la seule utilité: une station écoutée le plus souvent qui se trouve en 25, il serait bien de pouvoir la mettre en 1.A noter que pour les clés USB, j’ai essayé une clé de 128Go et elle ne passe pas (normal, il est noté dans la notice que l’on est limité, je crois à 64Go, ce qui est déjà pas mal). Mais j’ai aussi essayé une clé de 16Go en USB3 et la musique n’a pas fonctionné, alors que avec une clé de 16Go en USB 2, tous a bien fonctionné.En conclusion: Parfaite pour le prix et même mieux que de nombreuses radios à 10 fois plus chères (niveau sensibilité d’accroche des stations et niveau clarté des voix et même aussi nombre de stations mémorisables).Mais SVP Monsieur PRUNUS, je mettrai bien 2 ou 3€ de plus pour réaffecter les numéros des stations.

Ortungsgerät für Kabelbruch beim Automower
Ich war auf der Suche nach einem Mittelwellenradio, um einen Kabelbruch meiner Induktionsschleifen im Garten ausfindig zu machen, die der Rasenroboter benötigt. Ich hatte kein handliches MW Radio mehr im Haus und dachte auch nicht, dass ich noch jemals eines benötigen würde. Aber auf der Frequenz 1200 der Mittelwelle hört man sehr gut ein stromführendes Induktionskabel der Husqvarna Automower, von dem ich etwa 400 Meter im Garten liegen habe. Das alles auszugraben, um einen Kabelbruch ausfindig zu machen, steht in keinem Verhältnis zu den Anschaffungskosten dieses Radios. Und was soll ich sagen, es hat funktioniert. Auf einen halben Meter genau habe ich die durchtrennte Kabelstelle orten können.Ansonsten ist das kleine Teil ganz brauchbar. Audiophile Höchstleistung darf man natuerlich nicht erwarten, aber es empfängt ganz brauchbar auch UKW und bietet sich für den Campingurlaub mit kleinem Gepäck oder als Radio für die Werkstatt an. USB Steckernetzteil hat man ja zumeist wegen der Smartphones im Handgepäck dabei. Ob einem der eingesetzte Akku nicht gefällt, naja, der Nokia Standard Akku ist sicherlich kleiner als entsprechende AAA Akku, insofern macht der Einsatz hier Sinn.Ich war sehr zufrieden mit dem Kauf, geschuldet dem raschen Auffinden des Kabelbruchs.
