I’ve reviewed several Perixx mice and keyboards in the past, and build quality has been excellent, as expected of a German-made product.This is a fairly basic mouse and keyboard set, wireless via a single 2.4GHz USB receiver that works great with Windows 11 – it is plug and play for me, though it does include a driver CD for older operating systems. It’s a shame it has no Bluetooth, as that would have allowed compatibility with more devices.Both mouse and keyboard have a nice glossy “piano black” finish, which is a fingerprint and dust magnet, out of the box it was covered in cat hairs, though to be fair I was taking photos on the floor.Whilst the keyboard has no risers, it’s not completely flat as it has a curved protrusion at the back that lifts it at a slight angle. You can purchase stick-on risers should you need them. The keyboard operates just fine, nice and responsive, and is full sized with good sized keys, was easy to get used to without having any typos when speed-typing. It’s pretty quiet to use, so shouldn’t cause disturbance when used at night.The mouse is quite flat-ish, though not too low profile like the Apple Magic Mouse and feels OK to use – lacks any advanced features like DPI switching, or side buttons, but that should be fine for most users. It’s 1000DPI so it’s quite responsive, though I do prefer a much higher DPI generally at 3200 when gaming, and a low 800 working on image editors.Both require batteries which are not included – the keyboard uses 2xAAA batteries, whilst the mouse uses 2xAA batteries. Both should last many months before having to replace them.Quite a nice set, would recommend!

They keyboard is completely and easy to use the same as mouse. Well made, stylish, easy to use. Great quality and value for money. Highly recommended

Review Of: Perixx Periduo-7038 Wireless Keyboard & MouseThis budget keyboard and mouse come with a single USB receiver – which is pretty sizeable compared to all the other small ones I’ve come across. It’s plug and play, so you simply insert it into a port in your computer / laptop and they’re ready to use immediately. You’ll need an adapter if you only have USB-C port as one isn’t included.The Keyboard:It requires 2 x AAA batteries (not included). It has a tilted rear (so no adjustable feet) and non slip pads. I love the click clack buttons as they aren’t “bouncy” like some keyboards. It feels comfortable to use. The keyboard unfortunately has 2 major negative points:1. There are no little lights to show when Caps or Number Locks are on.2. It’s glossy – which means it’s a terrible dust magnet.The Mouse:Basic, very slimline, and again glossy. It has a scroll dial on top but that’s it. Not the most ergonomic or comfortable to use, but good for squeezing into a laptop sleeve. It requires 2 x AA batteries (not included).

I’ve been using a Perixx keyboard very happily for several years and it’s still going strong. This wireless keyboard and mouse are extremely easy to use – just add batteries (AA for the keyboard, AAA for the mouse), insert the small wireless receiver into your USB port and it sets itself up – literally off you go.The keyboard is comfortable to type on, with slightly raised hard plastic keys, with rounded edges. It’s not the quietest keyboard but is very user-friendly and has a slim design. There are no pull-out feet to worry about, just a continuous sloped self-standing curve. It doesn’t have a wrist pad, but I use a separate one anyway and find this very convenient. Both keyboard and mouse have a shiny black finish, with a removable plastic layer for protection. The mouse is also very easy and comfortable to use, with a rectangular appearance and a very smooth-touch finish. The multimedia keys are useful and there are also 10 hot keys. The instruction manual is brief, yet clear. I’ve been using it very well with my laptop – my only concern is that I don’t use the little wireless plug-in device/mini USB receiver – it would be nice if there was somewhere on the keyboard to store it. However for functionality it’s great, and going by the performance of my other Perixx keyboard I expect this one to last really well too.

Exactly as advertised, ultra slim (1.4cm) but long keyboard (approx 48cm long/19″) and glossy black to match the mouse. Really well designed for the price point, keys are easy to use and has a nice sound to is. Easy to set-up and connected straight away. i would highly recommend this little duo 10/10NOTE: I purchased batteries as extra, as i didn’t realise it already came with 2 x AA (for the mouse) plus 2 x AAA batteries (for the keyboard) so i was quite impressed when it arrived and found they were included and were Duracell too!!! – However, after unboxing i found that one of each type of the batteries had corroded! So just saying, purchase extra just in case.
