I’m so happy with this light. It makes my whole room look cosy and warm which is exactly what I wanted.I was making do with a cold white light before so the colour of the light was very important when i was buying this.I also wanted the light to be bright enough to read by and tall enough to shine further than just the corner of the room…so it’s perfect.I took a photo during the evening when the light was switched on and again during the day to show the natural colour of the lamp shade and the base. I think the pictures on amazon do it justice though …was exactly what i was expecting.It comes with instructions how to put it together but i didn’t even know that’s what they were until afterwards. The assembly is super simple, you just twist it into place and twist in the bulb and you’re good to go. No tools needed.The USB works well, but i haven’t used it regularly yet.My only pointer would be that the on/off touch feels almost static-y when you press it, making the wooden base feel less solid than i was expecting. I think id prefer a proper on/off switch as i’m a bit more old school.All in all, a beautiful warm atmospheric light.

This is a nice looking lamp that comes with a dimmable bulb. It’s a good size – ideal for either a side table in a living room, or as a bedside lamp, with the added bonus of being able to charge your phone/tablet.I found the “touch” controls a little sensitive sometimes .. and other times not sensitive enough, but having had several touch lamps in the past, I think this might be a foible of this technology to one extent or another.Sometimes the single tap required to switch it on or off had to be repeated.The “dimming” function was controlled by holding your finger on the base and it would then cycle through getting brighter and dimmer .. removing your touch would then “set” that brightness and it would remember that for the next time it was switched on. I must admit to preferring a more analogue option as I would regularly want it either on it’s dimmest or brightest setting and just “miss” that part of the cycle and have to wait for it to come around again. But that’s personal preference.My only main gripe was that, although it said it was a wooden lamp, there doesn’t appear to be any .. the wood effect looks like it might be gained by using a vinyl wrap or similar. However, it is done well, appears to be well put together and looks good in-situ.

I bought this lamp because I always wanted a touch lamp. So when I had a look on Discount Delights, most was selling with usb ports. This is quite powerful port tbh as it’s far much better than the plug I bought. It will charge my watch a phone together and a fast rate
