This is excellent, used every day for the last few years with no issues. Cleans my retainers brilliantly and has meant they’ve stayed strong and fresh for longer, without breaking. A quiet buzzing noise but you get used to it, works great with retainer bright tablets. Would be good if it had a 2 pin attachment to keep in the bathroom, but that’s the only criticism. Easy to use, would highly recommend for retainer

Cleans all nooks and crannies but needs 3 or 4 cleans to work suitably. Plus don’t put too many thins in at once as this reduces the clean. You can press a second or third clean but it advises not to use more than 3 times without a break for the motor. They also suggest using a little washing up liquid for more stubborn cleaning.

Needed to get some older jewellery clean, especially old watches. Wasn’t sure it would work, but it did as it promised, brought the wifes diamond rings and my watches up really nice. Noise level was almost negligible to a point it doesn’t bother you. Good capacity without being overly large been doing lots of stuff, but noted silver will not bright without some extra work polishing after treatment. This tool helps get the horrible stuff trapped in joints etc. not the cheapest out there but think it’s worth the extra for some nice quality.

I bought this in Feb 2025.I have used it once or twice every day for 9 months. We have become so used to clean glasses and jewellery that I would have said it’s a great little purchase.Now however when I turn in the power at the wall it is making a similar noise to when the machine is running.I’ve unplugged it and now I’m searching for a new sonic cleaner. Hopefully something with a bit of a longer life span!!!

I got this to freshen up my rings and glasses, but it’s turned into one of those things I now use every week. First time I tried it, I popped in my specs and a few earrings, added warm water and a tiny drop of washing-up liquid, then pressed the button. A few minutes later, everything came out looking way better than I expected. My glasses were sparkling, and the jewelry looked like it’d just been bought. I even tried it on an old coin for fun and that came out shiny too. It’s small enough to keep in the cupboard but does a proper job every time. Simple to use, no fuss, and honestly quite satisfying to watch it work. Great little find.

I hate using silver polish! I have a few items of old jewellery which needs cleaning before going to a charity shop. The Silver jewellery has no been worn for many years, and the locket particularly is hard to clean because the cream gets stuck in the ‘bobbles’ around the edge. The necklace and chain are very tarnishedThe 1953 Coronation teaspoon had hardly every been cleaned. It is good fun to put them in the trough and see the bubbles. The glass shows spendidly dirty water after using the trough, The second spoon and the final picture of jewellery are the results. Don’t think you are going to get really sparkling jewellery (although I have not tried gold. The copper coin in the handle of the spoon worked particuarly well. Glasses – not fully convinced as you have to dry them before you wear them and glasses spray is equally good. I had visions of doing the cutllery but only teaspoons will fit the trough. I think the image is misleading in giving an impression of sie. If you want to do larger objects probably one of the other troughs will suit you better. Well designed. WIll go around the house trying things out – a toothbrush? Wasn’t totally sure what ‘washing liquid is. so used 3 drops of washinup liquid. The coronation shoop was greasy so I rubbed that with the other up liquid directly. I might try other possibilities,Perhaps I should have bought the silver polish from an economy viewpoint, but this is much more fun and doesn’t dry out your fingers! End Result, certaibly betterm but not dramatically so. Since added a minimum amount from a anti-bac clenaer which is plant based – the spray comes out as a foam ,Improved results on silver and gold – and even aluminium pastry cutters!

Comprato per pulire gli occhiali di mia figlia , ma al primo test sono rimasta a bocca aperta , ho provato su un paio di occhiali vecchi e non credevo potesse esserci così tanto sporco , si scioglieva dalle fessure delle lenti , impercettibile ad prima vista , ho usato una miscela di detersivo per i piatti e un goccio d’aceto . Pulitissimi, mai piu senza, anzi mi sono pentita di non aver preso il modello più grande, in quello piccolo purtroppo non entrano le spazzole e i pennelli. Ottimo anche su gioielli e piccoli accessori.

Macht sein Ding, wie es soll
Vorrangig zum Reinigen von Brillen, Ohrpasstücke für Hörgeräte und Trockenrasierer-Scherköpfe suchte ich nach einem leistungsstarken und größenmäßig passenden Gerät. Nachdem ich mich erst für ein leistungsschwaches Modell eines anderen Herstellers entschied, und dieses schnell zurücksendete, entschied ich mich nach längerer Suche für das LifeBasis 700ml – Gerät. Mit einem Tropfen herkömmliches Spülmittel und ein hierzu von Discount Delights empfohlenen Reinigungskonzentrat (wenig davon nehmen!) und klarem Wasser erzielt man in 90 Sekunden eine sehr saubere Brille. Wie beim Optiker gewaschen, klar, mit passenden Brillentuch trocknen und polieren sollte man nicht vergessen.Gut ist, dass man 5 Zeitvarianten einstellen kann. Von 90 Sekunden bis 10 Minuten (600 sek). Bei längeren Intervallen erwärmt sich das Wasser auf bis zu 60° C. Vorsicht bei Entnahme nach langen Reinungsläufen. Die Scherköpfe waren nach 3 min sauber, ebeso die Paßstücke fürs Hörgerät.Längere Tests usw. hab ich noch nicht durchgeführt, besitze das Gerät nun erst seit 2 Tagen. Aber bisher liegt das Ergebnis im Rahmen meiner Erwartung.Gerät wurde einwandfrei und sicher verpackt von Hermes geliefert.Update 8.11.16:Das Gerät funktioniert nach wie vor zuverlässig. Inzwischen habe ich auch den Druckkopf vom CANON MP 550 gereinigt, und der Drucker funktioniert seither wieder zuverlässig. Den Druckkopf nur in destaillierten Wasser reinigen und hinterher gut trocknen. Vor dem Einsatz empfiehlt es sich, die Kontaktplatte abzukleben (TESA z.B.)Zum Brillenreinigen verzichte ich inzwischen auf das Reinigungsmittel und nehme klares Wasser und wenige Tropfen “Fit” – Geschirrspülmittel. So wird das Ergebnis nach dem Trockenputzen schlierenfreier.Update 17.5.17:Das Gerät funktioniert immer noch zuverlässig. Auch wenn große Brillen nur diagonal in den Korb passen (Hier sollte man sich vielleicht besser auf 850 ml orientieren), liefert das Gerät nach wie vor gute Ergebnisse. Auf das auch hier erhältliche Reinigungsmittel verzichte ich nun gänzlich und weiche auf handelsübliches Spülmittel (Fit) aus. Auch davon verwende ich sehr wenig. Ich nutze es für Brilen, Hörgerät-Paßsstücke, Zahnersatz, Rasiererscherköpfe und – Blätter und auch für die o.e. Druckkopfreinigung (hier allerdings nur mit destaillierten Wasser OHNE Zusatz!) Das Wasser wechsele ich wöchentlich, bei speziellen Reinigungen wie Ohrpaßstücke, Zahnersatz oder Scherköpfen aus hygienischen Gründen natürlich sofort.Für Rasierer-Scherköpfe und Druckköpfe verwende ich meist die höchste Zeitstufe.Das Gerät ist leider im Standby, habe es daher an eine abschaltbare Steckerleiste angeschlossen.
