I am useless at styling my hair so need all the help I can get! I have tried many different tools over the years and this is certainly one of the better ones; my hair is short (short bob length) and I found these give me a nice soft wave that lasts all day. They do take awhile to heat up so if you are wanting to get ready quickly make sure to give yourself ample time to allow these to heat up for use.They are easy to use, just be mindful not to hit the on/off and temperature button during use which did happen when I first started using them before I got used to the placement of it.They seem to be well made and for this price they work well and allow me to style my hair as I want.

I gave this UKLISS hair crimper a go through the Vine programme, partly out of curiosity and partly because my partner loves anything that brings back a bit of that retro look. First impressions were solid. It heats up quickly and the temperature settings are proper easy to control with the LCD screen. I tried it out on my own hair just to see what it could do and it definitely added a decent bit of volume and texture, especially near the roots. Not my everyday look, but I can see the appeal and it worked better than I expected on thicker hair.My partner’s used it more than I have and it’s been a bit of a hit. She’s used it for full crimped styles and also just for adding lift underneath, and it handles both nicely without overheating or snagging. The build quality is decent and the safety lock is a nice touch for storing it away neatly. The crimp effect lasts well too, which surprised both of us. It’s simple, does what it promises and has added something a bit different to our hair kit.5 out of 5.

I’ve never used one of these mermaid wavers before. The unit has a lock button on the back to keep it shut which I found eventually. It heated up pretty quickly – I just used it on 180degrees and added some heat protection spray first. The first bit of hair that I did I got amazing results. I had trouble doing the back of my hair so had to do a redo by holding my hair towards the ceiling and passing the waver over it again. The other side of my head didn’t go as bumpy for some reason, I’m not sure if this is because I was putting too much or too little hair into the unit – I just wish it looked as stunning as the other side.What was great was that the unit’s weight isn’t too heavy for holding, and the whole thing actually allows you to style your hair so quickly. I dropped a star because the power button is on the handle where you need to hold the waver to use it. Because of this I accidentally pressed the button down, the unit turned off and it lost heat and wave ability. Afterwards I tried not to press it but that was very hard with the button being in that position. The power cable could also do with being a bit longer too – but I stand up to style my hair. Overall this did impress me more than I had expected it would.

High quality, effective & great for travel
I was searching for a crimper that was small and lightweight to take a cruise, but was concerned a smaller one wouldn’t be as reliable as my trusty everyday one I have at home. Then I found this one. It is perfect for travel. Not only is it lightweight, but the design is perfect for fitting into a suitcase, and using in a small cruise ship bathroom. Ever though it is small in size, it is easy to hold and crimps hair just as well as my larger one. The heat settings are great for my medium-thin hair. The price is just right for something that won’t get used often other than travel, but honestly I may just start using it at home as well. I highly recommend it.

Fait le job, mais l’effet ne me convainc pas
Ce boucleur crée bien des vagues et chauffe rapidement, donc il fait le job. En revanche, je trouve que le rendu est trop “gaufré” à mon goût, pas vraiment des boucles mais plutôt des ondulations marquées. Ça peut plaire, mais ce n’est pas l’effet que je recherchais.
