Set-up is super simple for this antenna: Plug it in, set the “source” on your TV to “Air”, let your Smart TV scan for available channels, and you’re ready to watch TV. It’s really that easy.My TV’s scan told me there were 47 channels available and it auto-programmed into my channel list. Unfortunately, only about half of the channels came through clearly and reliably. Fortunately, the channels I watch for news, weather, and some sports are received nicely. I don’t spend much time watching TV, so this antenna serves my purposes very well.My one nitpick about this antenna is that I wish it came with a longer cable. The cable is only about 8 feet long, and if your TV isn’t that close to a window you might not get reception as strongly as you could if you were to put the antenna closer to the window.Overall, I can recommend the DGUPSP Digital Antenna. Don’t expect this or any other (more expensive) digital antenna to replace cable. It’s not meant to do that. But at the current price point ($9.99 as of Jan. 31, 2025) it’s a heck of a good deal.PRO TIP: Go on one of the web sites that can tell you how many stations have through-the-air broadcasts in your area before getting a digital antenna. If you live out in the country or in a hilly area, your channel selection might be pretty limited, no matter how much you pay for a digital antenna.

you won’t believe how well this little antenna works
I’m an OTA TV watcher. I do have a couple of streaming services I use, but all the live TV is OTA channels in my area. I have so many antennas and none of them beats this little antenna’s reception. It does a great job of picking up all the channels available in my area and they are rock solid and clear like digital TV is supposed to be. I have much bigger antennas that don’t even get channels as well as this antenna works. The magnet is strong and holds the antenna solidly to a metal thing if you have something like that to attach to. Not sure why it looks like a drinking vessel, maybe just aesthetics or maybe for function. I’m really very curious how this antenna works very well. I live in an urban area, so the signals are all local to me and might not be great for long range, but I am pretty impressed it works as well as it does and so inexpensively at that.

Decent Performing and Easy to Hide Antenna
I ordered this antenna to use with my main TV. It is replacing a metal telescoping antenna I’ve had for a few years now. This antenna is much more discreet than the telescoping antenna which allows me to hide it a little better. This is a plus since the much metal telescoping antenna had to be extended all of the way out and was very much an eye sore. I was a little concerned this antenna’s smaller stature would impact performance but so far it slightly outperforms my old antenna.The channels will vary by location but in my home I am receiving the same 28 channels I received before. All of the main ones (ABC,NBC,CBS, and Fox) come in crystal clear without any issues. I used to have minor problems with the PBS channels but they are coming in stronger now. All of my testing was done with the antennal sitting under my TV so that was a pleasant surprise. If you live in an area with poor reception, or if your house’s construction impedes the signal, the antenna comes with an adhesive magnetic strip that allows you to mount it higher up to improve signal strength. I haven’t had to do this but that is a very helpful feature for an antenna.Overall, this is a great little antenna. It’s easy to place wherever you need it to go and it doesn’t stick out like a sore thumb. If you currently have signal problems it probably wont improve those much but it does give you more options on placement than a standard antenna normally does which may help.

Would be great for camping
This little antenna is small and compact. Weighs approximately 1.5lbs. And is approximately 6.5 inches tall. It hooked up to my tv with a coax connection. It ran through the entire scan with 23 digital channels and no analog. The cable is approximately 11 feet in length! Once the scan one complete and the channel was being viewed, the picture and sound were both crystal clear! However, any slight movement of the antenna, both the sound and picture lagged and it did take a bit for it to catch back up. The base is magnetic and would be fantastic on top of a camper or RV, as long as it was stationary! This will come in handy when camping when internet/wife is not available!
