Took me few days to finally set it up the way I want it.Home desktop + work laptop. Only desktop has DP+HDMI out, laptop has type C and HDMIDP over Type C doesn’t work and requires the type c to be reconnected every time so to get it to work in this setup you need KVM HDMI -> Type C hub HDMI, type c of the laptop and KVM DP -> DP to active HDMI cable (it needs extra usb for power) -> laptop HDMI. That’s the only way to get it to switch seamlessly every time.Took star off cuz I can’t use DP and play full screen games so my main monitor is running over HDMI not DP

I picked up this KVM switch for my WFH setup, and it’s been a game changer. I needed a way to switch between my home PC and work laptop without a hassle, and this has done the job brilliantly. The setup was dead easy just make sure you have enough HDMI/DP cables! The picture quality is sharp, even at higher resolutions, so there’s no compromise on clarity when I switch over to my work setup. It also comes with a couple of USB ports, which makes it easy to keep my keyboard, mouse and webcam (which works on both devices I switch to) connected, and I just press a button to toggle between my personal and work machines. It’s smooth, reliable, and saves a ton of time during the day.If you’re managing both a home and work PC and want a seamless way to switch, this KVM switch does the trick perfectly. It’s well worth it for anyone juggling both setups and looking to keep everything streamlined!

This unit does not work with USB-C to HDMI converters or other similar adapters. Tried a number of cables/adapters but couldn’t get a satisfying resolution. Got the HDMI only KVM and it works fine. Sure this would work fine as long as you have direct connections.

I am using this with a large monitor over display port and two PCs with a 4070 and 4070 ti in. I have used the usb slots to have an Xbox wireless controller, wireless keyboard and mouse. Everything has been great but I have given 4 stars because I couldn’t get the wired button to work. The button on the box is fine and it’s only a minor inconvenience.

Changing my review thanks to the excellent customer service. I had a faulty product but after some troubleshooting, they were happy to send me a new product. Thank you

Im sure its great item as majority of people say-while testing i did noticed issue some people mentioned about placements and resolutions being odd- but as others said its more of a cable switch than a KVM.I have seen some people using it with laptop but sadly i was not able to use it, and neither there is any extra instruction (i know its 2 displays and 2 pcs but…so many people use it for laptops it would be nice to have it).Decided to invest into another KVM with laptop instructions and returned it.

Works perfectly and does exactly what the description says. Perfect tool/accessory for switching between a personal computer and a work computer

This works well as a standard switcher between home PC and a work laptop, but if you want to watch Netflix, Prime Video, AppleTV+, etc then it will blank the screen. This is because it does not support HDCP output. So even though if you connect the devices independently with your HDCP compliant DP and HDMI cables, the box itself will lose that support when you take the feed from its output. As such this is a deal breaker for me. Returned mine.
