As the title suggests, this machine – functionally – is great. You can produce “fair-like” cotton candy and have a lot of fun whilst doing it. With that being said, it’s not the easiest thing to get the hang of, but once you’ve got the knack of it you can produce A LOT very fast.The bowl for this machine is large, which is great for creating comically wide sticks of the stuff, but when it comes to cleaning this becomes a chore. I think given that it’s something that you’re unlikely to be using every day, which in turn means you won’t have to clean it very often, still makes this machine perfectly fine for us smaller-kitchened folk.Price wise, this machine is currently up for £199. I think it would be some time before you got your monies worth, but if you were to rent a similar machine for an event you’d be looking at £40-60 for the hour. So if you manage to use this for more than 3 hours, it’s certainly worth the money.

Purchased for our work fun weekend, solid build and with some practises it made perfect candy floss. A breeze to clean (do not place drum in the dishwasher) . I did find the scoop provided to small for large floss so i used a dessert spoon.Candy floss does fly out when using it so one needs to be quick when making the floss. Overall a great purchase and lots of happy kids

Having never used a candy floss machine before, I did not quite know what to expect. This took some practice with normal sugar, and struggled to get it to the right heat level – so having got some of the proper pink stuff, it worked a lot easier and looked/tasted like the real thing!You don’t want to loose the lid as it does like to fly out. The stainless steel bowl is easy enough to clean if it fits in your sink!

This is a commercial candy floss machine. I took it out for my grandsons third birthday and it was a great success. To start off with I read the instructions and wasn’t impressed. It said to put the sugar in the bowl and that didn’t work. So I then put sugar in the inside and it worked great. I bought some coloured sugar online and the variety was great fun. Sticks are available online too. I’d have liked some sticks included so buyers can try straight away. This is really good and very sturdy. I’m delighted with it and would definitely recommend it for parties etc.

I love this.Other reviews have described it but I wanted to give a quick tip because we had an issue at first.I kept checking the centre for the heat by waving my hand over it, and couldn’t really feel anything so by the time we put the sugar in it was too hot and it went everywhere. Bad.So we’ve discovered that it needs to heat up for less than 3 minutes, and that’s perfect.Nothing burns and you can make lovely big balls of candy floss.Also, sugar does stick to the sides so we let them go cold and then chip them off with a wooden spoon – this takes pretty much all of it off, and then it’s easier to clean.It’s much bigger than it looks in the photos – it’s not something that can sit on your kitchen counter, but we wheel it out any opportunity we can and it’s always a winner.It’s well made, and it works perfectly every time now that we’ve had some time to practise. And, obviously, it tastes delicious.Highly recommended.
