It’s absolutely stinking and I cannot seem to get it clean no matter what I do. It is very secure though and hasn’t let me down in terms of staying on my wrist but I think it’s some nasty smelly rubber at the core of it that’s trapping moisture between it and the leather cover maybe. Anyway yuk

I was a little bit doubtful about this, when ordering and receiving it. Whilst it was leather, it was very brightly coloured and I did wonder if it would last. My watch is expensive, and I use it a lot, from riding motorcycles, to cycles to life, this strap has had to put up with a lot of stresses. I wear this in the shower, in the bath, in a swimming pool, in the sea.I’ve been surprisingly impressed with this. It’s developed a lovely patina on it, I do use a leather conditioner on it every couple of months or so. It’s shown no evidence of the wear and tear it’s been subjected to. Instead the colour has deepened and it looks like a strap that’s been in use for 50 years.

For the money this strap is excellent value, it really complements my apple watch and makes the watch feel a little more dressy. I have big wrists and the strap has plenty of adjustment. I feels very comfortable to wear from day 1 which was a surprise as real leather strap sometimes have to bed in a little and soften with wear. Being made from real leather it should look better with age. I am really happy.

I brought this strap as a change to the original Ocean band. I was pleased to see that the quality was high with no faults that I could see especially seeing as the price was cheaper than I expected to pay.
