Very easy to assemble without roofrack. Taken for a motorway trial and no movement of bag. So roomy- we got so much of our camping gear in here. Seems really sturdy. Small amount of rain showed no penetration but it says it is not totally waterproof against severe weather so we are going to use tarpaulins around the items to ensure they stay dry whatever the weather. Folds down to really small item so great to store. Really impressed for the price.

I used it with our roof rack for a little extra security and peace of mind.There’s loads of room in it, very easy to use and extremely strong.The zips to close it and then the flap with velcro is strong and durable and very waterproof. We had no issues with anything being damp or wet.The securing straps work really well and are strategically placed to allow for multiple methods of use.Others have failed to get it back in the supplied storage bag but I found it easy.Would I buy again if need be – absolutely.Do I recommend this – 100%

Marvellous things. Low cost and no need to store or drive around with a massive empty box on the roof. Better for fuel efficiency I think than a protruding box with a roof rack and bars due to its ability to hug the roof and decrease in size for small loads.

Brilliant item ❤️, I used it to take to Creationfest camping in Cornwall. Throughout it was steady, solid and easy to put up. It rained for 4 days, yet all was dry when I was ready to repack for our journey back. Much better than a conventional roof plastic box, and for 1/2 the price.

Good except for the fact that you really need a rail bar at the front of the roof to anchor the box and stop the front part of it sliding back. Apart from this I found it very roomy and completed a return journey from Kent to the Lake District without any problems apart from the issue raised.

Ho acquistato questo box da tetto per un viaggio estivo e devo dire che ha superato le mie aspettative. Avevo bisogno di spazio extra per le vacanze e questo prodotto si è rivelato la soluzione perfetta.Montaggio e utilizzo:Il montaggio è abbastanza semplice, anche se la prima volta ho impiegato circa 20-25 minuti per capire bene come fissare tutto correttamente. Le cinghie sono lunghe (forse anche un po’ troppo) ma questo permette di adattarle a qualsiasi tipo di auto. Una volta capito il meccanismo, montarlo e smontarlo diventa molto più veloce.Capienza:La capienza è davvero notevole! Ci ho messo dentro due valigie grandi, una media, zaini e borse varie. Praticamente tutto il necessario per quattro persone per una settimana. È incredibile quanto spazio offre per il prezzo che costa.Prestazioni in viaggio:Ho fatto circa 800 km tra andata e ritorno, con tratti autostradali a velocità sostenuta. Il box è rimasto perfettamente fermo, si sentiva un leggero rumore ma niente di esagerato.Consigli utili:- Caricate la parte anteriore con gli oggetti più pesanti per evitare che l’aria lo sollevi (mi è successo, ma nulla di preoccupante)- Riempitelo bene per evitare spazi vuoti che potrebbero causare prese d’aria (anche se con la stretta delle cinghie si mantiene abbastanza bene)- Tirate bene le cinghie prima di partire e verificate dopo i primi chilometri (nel primo viaggio di andata, ogni tanto mi fermavo per controllare, ma tutto rimaneva sempre a sui posto)Praticità:Quando non serve, si piega facilmente e occupa pochissimo spazio nel bagagliaio o in garage/cantina. Questa è una caratteristica fantastica rispetto ai box rigidi tradizionali che costano molto di più e sono difficili da riporre, e infatti è stata la cosa che più mi ha fatto scegliere questa soluzione.Sono davvero soddisfatto dell’acquisto. Per chi come me ha un uso sporadico e cerca un’alternativa economica ai cofani rigidi, questo prodotto è assolutamente perfetto. Lo consiglio senza dubbi!

Very good bag for the price.
Love this bag ! Very easy to use, built a wooden platform so it could hold my spare tire without crushing the roof and it works great. Holds a lot of stuff.The real test will be to see how long it lasts being exposed to UV rays for a prolonged period of time. Definitely recommend, for now.
