Not much to say on the item other than it does what it claims and it big enough for a lot of uses or a lot of pencils/pens etc.Finish is nice to the touch. The grip helps it grip the desk from sliding, I didn’t even wipe the spot down clean (although it wasn’t exactly dirty) where I placed it and I can move it sideways. At least without real force but then that’s kinda science. It will still tip over if it knock the top of it. Although the wide base gives it a good sturdiness so will take some force to do so.A nice little bit of padding at the bottom of it, to protect and dampen sound as you drop anything in. Although I’m not sure I’d drop any of your fancy expensive pens in without a bit of care. I imagine those people use boxes or some other type of storage though.May be a bit high priced at the minute at £11.98, I assume it’s been boosted. Which I can never approve of but it’s not a stain on the product that’s a seller related issue. If it was reduced in price you would see what the actual price it should be rated at. So maybe someone else can clear this up down the line.It’s not ridiculous as there are other metal cylindrical around the 10.99 mark and this is nice for what it is, just maybe a tad too much.It’s by far better than a bland wired pencil holder and I could easily recommend it given that it’s price reduces to what it should be. I get inflation and the likes but there’s only so much someone will pay and maybe at 10.99 or less would be acceptable given that it is metal. Ideally 9.99 I can imagine would see more sales of it as it is a nice design and just nicely fits in with a setup. It doesn’t catch you’re eye but looks sleek enough to not stand out as a cheap pencil holder.

I have been using a small plastic beaker in my home office for keeping a few pens and some small tools handy but it keeps falling over due to it having no weight to it and it doesn’t look that great. When this came up it looked like the ideal replacement and I wasn’t wrong.This pen holder is about the size of a large mug and has a decent weight to it which helps it to hold firmly to the desk without falling over. The base of this has a soft covering so it makes no noise and won’t scratch when placed down or moved around.I really love the finish thats been given to this holder, it has a light grey coating which looks to be of a very good quality, maybe powder coated I’m not sure but it has no defects or marks at all, then the top rim is a polished stainless steel which matches perfectly with the grey and gives it an elegant appearance compared to most others that I’ve seen.I have put three marker pens and several small tools which I use almost daily in it and there is still plenty more room should I want to add anything more, this keeps the things I need most next to me and still looking nice and tidy.lovely looking pen holder with a superb finish.Recommended.

With this out of the way it’s time to note down my thoughts and experience using the Giecy;s pen holder.The Giecy;s pen holder is a cylindrical shaped piece of aluminium alloy painted matt black. On the inner base of the holder there is a material pad that cushions the pens and also prevents any noise when the pens are moved around. On the outer base of the holder there is a non-slip rubber pad to ensure it remains in situ on those slippery wooden office desks. The non-slip rubber pad is slightly tacky and holds fast on my wooden desk, even after it has been polished.The Giecy’s pen holder is approximately 10cm high and 8cm in diameter. It is not as big as I envisaged however it does hold a substantial number of pens, pencils and stationery, and many more than I need to have close to hand on a daily basis.There are plenty of pen holders available however most are pretty boring and less than inspiring. I ordered the Giecy’s pen holder for its aesthetics and the way it looks. I thought it looked classy, stylish and would suit my black monitors, keyboard and mouse and when it was delivered I wasn’t disappointed.The finish of the Giecy’s pen holder is exceptionally good and despite me scraping various bits of office stationery and files against it the pen holder has not yet suffered any scratches, dinks or dents and still looks like new.The Giecy’s pen holder may not be the cheapest pen holder on the market but it is worth every penny. It’s tough, it’s functional, it stays in situ (thanks to the non-slip rubber pad) and it looks really good.

Diseño sobrio que encaja en cualquier sitio
Había pensado en este portalápices para regalar, pero me ha gustado tanto que al final me lo he quedado yo (ya tendré tiempo de buscar otro regalo).Llega bien presentado, por lo que si va a ser para regalo es de agradecer.El tamaño es bastante estándar en este tipo de accesorios de escritorio. De alto mide 10 centímetros (aunque con la goma que tiene en el fondo para evitar que se mueva en el escritorio aumenta un poco más), de circunferencia tiene 80 centímetros y el grosor es de 2.5 milímetros, que es bastante grueso teniendo en cuenta el material que utiliza.Mi unidad está muy bien mecanizada, no encuentro ningún defecto, ni por la parte interior ni la exterior. El bisel del labio superior le da un toque muy elegante y es una zona donde se ve cualquier defecto, y este no tiene ninguno.La pintura en mi caso es color gris, que le da un toque muy sobrio y a la vez combina con cualquier estilo. Es perfecto para la oficina, y aunque no lo usaría en un escritorio tipo gaming, tampoco desentonaría demasiado. Es lo que más me gusta de este diseño tan sencillo y el color que combina con todo.Igual que con el mecanizado la pintura está perfecta. De momento solo llevo unas semanas usándolo pero no he notado ninguna rozadura o zona descolorida.En la parte inferior como decía anteriormente tiene una goma antideslizante. No llega a cubrir el diámetro completo y mide unas décimas de milímetro, lo que le hace subir un poco y hace el efecto de no estar tocando el escritorio.El fondo interior está forrado de fieltro (solo el fondo no las paredes) que ayuda a que los bolígrafos y el material que metamos dentro no pegue golpes fuertes contra el aluminio. Normalmente uso un portaminas y suelo olvidarme de guardar la punta, en otros portalápices siempre se rompe pero en esta al estar forrada ayuda algo a no romperse sistemáticamente. Además, evita mucho ruido y la sensación al dejar un boli es totalmente diferente que en un portalápices común.Lo que menos me gusta es el precio. A mi modo de ver es demasiado caro pero una vez que lo usas se nota la calidad que tiene. Como idea para regalo está genial, ya que con este diseño combina con todo y casi seguro que va a quedar bien.

Positive points – it has a nice weight to it, when you pick it up it’s slightly heavier than you might expect. The pink sparkly finish is appealing and it’s great to have a place to store all the random pens I find about the house. The non-slip base works well.I think some of the product photos make it seem a little larger than it is – so be clear it’s 8cm in diameter and 10cm high. The felt/material inside the pot is off-centre, the material is just slightly too small to cover the entire bottom of the pot.The pink version of the pen holder is currently 13.90. Unless you’re particularly desperate for a pink pen holder it’s worth checking out the other colour variants as they are nearly two pounds cheaper at the moment.Overall – it’s okay and seems well made, just feels a little on the expensive side for what you’re getting.

Ho preso il portapenne argento per attrezzare una “postazione ufficio” in sala e devo dire che è proprio carino e bene fatto, robusto e all’interno ha il feltro in modo che non si rovinino le matite! Lo consiglio!

Il design metallico del portapenne si adatta perfettamente all’ambiente e appare ben costruito e di qualità.È arrivato con una gomma antiscivolo e un’altra dentro il portapenne stesso per non danneggiare penne e matite.Consiglio assolutamente la versione argento che mette a risalto l’alluminio, fa un figurone.
