Works well, & certainly recommend this 100watt unit.NOTE you MUST prime the pump with a few ounces of oil before use to get it sucking & to ensure you do not weld the gears inside it.NOTE – it is NOT for pumping water as it needs the oil it pumps for lubrication. It isn’t noisy & for a small pump it works at a modest speed…Re pictures in the advert… it is too big to slide into a large coffee mug for size comparison, so you do get a lot for your money.I am impressed with it.Excellent value for money & makes a top-of-engine oil change easy.It is worth having aa rag handy so the oil drips from pipes when removed from engine don’t make a mess.this thing is excellent.

I’ve had cheaper oil pumps before and was a little reluctant to spend more money as they cheaper ones didn’t really function very well and I didn’t hold out much hope for this one…how wrong I was.The pump is really easy to use with everything you will need to do a quick mess free oil change. Attached the hoses, pop the outlet into a suitable oil container and the other hose down the dipstick pipe and connect the crocodile clips to battery. The pump fairly pumps the old oil out fast not like the cheaper versions I’ve had.The tubes provided fit nicely down the dipstick hole and fit onto the pump nice and tight (adjustable hose clips are provided but I didn’t need them) with no leaks at all.Overall, I’d rather spend a little extra and get a quality product like this..buy cheap, buy twice.

The fittings and hoses are of excellent quality with no leaks. The pumping was a little slower than expected but removed 8 litres in 10 minutes from a cold engine. Value for money is excellent and I think the pump is going to last longer than my previous plastic pump which only managed two oil changes before failing.

Before using make sure the ports are cleaned out of your intending to use it to pump anything into an engine. Or piece of equipment. Please see image attached of the debris in threaded port.
