We want you to feel completely confident shopping with Discount Delights. If something isn’t quite right, we’ll work with you to put it right as quickly and fairly as possible.
This page explains how returns work for orders placed directly on DiscountDelights.co.uk. Orders placed via eBay or other marketplaces should follow the returns process on that platform.
Our returns promise
14-day returns – change your mind within 14 days of delivery and you can return most items.
Fair support if there’s a problem – if an item arrives damaged, faulty or not as described, we’ll sort it out.
Simple, human help – if you’re ever unsure, just contact us and we’ll guide you through the next steps.
This policy does not affect your statutory rights.
1. Change-of-mind returns
If you’ve simply changed your mind about a product, no problem.
You can return most items if:
You contact us within 14 days of delivery.
The item is unused and in a resaleable condition.
All original packaging, labels and accessories are included.
How refunds work for change-of-mind:
We’ll refund the item price to your original payment method.
Original delivery charges are not usually refunded unless we’ve made a mistake.
You’ll need to cover the cost of return postage for change-of-mind returns.
2. Damaged, faulty or incorrect items
If your order arrives damaged, faulty or we’ve sent the wrong item, we’ll put it right.
Please:
Contact us as soon as possible after delivery.
Include your order number, a brief description of the issue and, where possible, clear photos or a short video showing the problem and the packaging/labels.
Once we’ve reviewed this, we will:
Offer a replacement, repair (where appropriate) or refund, and
Where the item is confirmed as faulty, damaged in transit or incorrectly supplied, we’ll cover or reimburse the reasonable return postage cost (usually standard Royal Mail or equivalent).
Please do not dispose of the item or packaging until we’ve confirmed the next step.
3. How to start a return
To make a return, please:
Get in touch with us
Use the contact form on our Contact Us
page, or
Email us (or message via the website) with your order number and reason for return.
Wait for instructions
We’ll confirm:Whether your item is eligible for return
The correct returns address
Any reference or label that should be included in/attached to your parcel.
Pack your item securely
Use the original packaging where possible.
Make sure the item is well protected so it doesn’t get damaged in transit.
Include your name, order number and contact details inside the parcel.
Send it back
Use a tracked or at least proof-of-postage service.
Keep your receipt until your return has been processed.
4. Refunds & processing times
Once your return reaches us and has been checked, we’ll process your refund or replacement.
We aim to process returns within 5–10 working days of receiving the parcel.
Refunds are issued to your original payment method.
Depending on your bank or card provider, it may take a few extra days for the money to show in your account.
If we need any more information, we’ll contact you using the details on your order.
5. Exchanges
Where stock allows, we’re happy to arrange an exchange instead of a refund.
Let us know in your first message if you’d prefer an exchange (for example, a different colour or similar item).
If the replacement costs more, we’ll send you a secure payment link for the difference.
If the replacement costs less, we’ll refund the difference once your return has been processed.
6. Items we can’t accept back
To keep things fair for all customers and for hygiene reasons, some items can’t be returned unless they are faulty. These may include, for example:
Certain health & personal care items once opened
Products that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons once used (e.g. some bedding or intimate items)
Items clearly marked as non-returnable or final sale on the product page
