Having recently used the ChunHee Wireless Dog Doorbell for Potty Training/Communication, I have mixed feelings about its effectiveness. On the positive side, the doorbell provides a novel approach to potty training and communication with dogs. The wireless design allows for easy installation, and the range is sufficient for most homes. However, there are notable drawbacks to consider. The doorbell’s sound quality may not be loud or distinct enough to get the dog’s attention, especially in noisy environments or large homes. Additionally, the sensitivity of the doorbell may lead to false activations, which can be frustrating for both the dog and the owner.Overall, while the ChunHee Wireless Dog Doorbell offers a creative solution to potty training and communication with dogs, its effectiveness may vary depending on individual circumstances. It’s worth considering as part of a comprehensive training regimen, but it may not be a one-size-fits-all solution for all dogs.

The items themselves work well and were easy to install and adjust. But our 7 year old Cocker Spaniel really isn’t getting the hang of it at all. The button is easy enough to press, but I guess he’s too old to learn this new trick. We continue to persevere, but it has been quite a number of weeks now (possibly about 6 weeks?) and he just doesn’t get it.

I bought this for my puppy because I kept missing her cues for needing to toilet. It arrived next day and well packaged. It works straight out of the box. One unit plugs into a wall socket with a choice of musical tones and there are 2 sensor units with velcro. I stuck one to the door and the other is a spare. It only took 2 days for her to learn to use her nose to make it ring and only requires a light touch to activate it. I can highly recommend it as a house training tool.

Having spent a long time staying in the kitchen with our 2 Labrador puppies when they were really small, as they got older we progressed to them having time without us there. However we needed to give them a way to let us know if they needed a toilet break, so bought these WiFi door bells. You get two touch pads and two receivers. We plugged a receiver in the kitchen and the other one goes wherever we are in the house, so upstairs for example. We keep the 2nd touch pad as a spare. Some people have commented that the sticky pads are a pain because you cannot easily remove the push pad to change batteries. Unfortunately you have to remove screws at the back of the pad; the top doesn’t twist off. Because of this we have used a Command Velcro sticky pad, so we can simply remove the pad and pop it back in place easily. We stuck a push pad to the patio door in the kitchen and did some training with the pups. They learned very quickly what to do.What a laugh! Needless to say we spent the first evening back and forth from the lounge to the kitchen responding to their ‘calls’. If it was a genuine toilet request they got a treat. We also used it any time we put them out, teaming it with our ‘go busy’ toilet phrase. It’s been a few months since we started using the door bell. The pups are 7 months old now and still using the pad to ask to be let out. However annoyingly the door bell has started to go off on its own accord. Both pups can be in their crates and it just starts and sometimes does not stop! We’ve been woken at 3am with it going off and had to go downstairs and unplug the unit.We wondered if the battery was wearing down which might cause it to intermittently trigger but having put a new one in, it still tiggers at odd times. The dogs use their noses to push the button so it’s not getting a lot of abuse from paws hitting it.I would definitely have given it 4 stars at the start, but the annoyance factor now has lost it a star.

We love this door bell so much! So easy to set up. Two bells, which are so handy. We’ve currently only got one active (I use the other one for training (there is a handy battery slip, so you aren’t wasting battery if not needed).Once you’ve taught your dog ‘paw’, it is extremely easy to teach them to paw the bell for treats. It’s also sensitive enough to not even need a paw, just a muzzle/sniff, and it often goes off (lots of meat/cheese treats training here, should work to get them wanting to touch it with their nose. We’ve only just started training, so are currently putting the “bell” out when he’s out of sight (as he basically just thinks it’s a treat dispenser at the moment). With time, I’ll phase out the treats and he’ll better connect/understand that the button also opens the door!

Works as a bell, but our 4 yr old dog too thick to use it, just stands beside it. Daughters delighted to use it as they let us know every time they let him out…

Took a while for my pup (two months) to learn this but probably because of my training technique. Waterproof and my pup licks this to turn it on.
